Blessed to be present at Ontimamidi on Day One of Devuni Kalyanam 23.02.2021 at Sri Rajarajeswari Visweswara Swamy temple , a temple of Chola Period - Renovated .. Embrace Shiva Embrace Life. Recently I watched a Video of Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation.The video is titled EMBRACE SHIVA EMBRACE LIFE. In this Sadhguru tells us all encompassing nature of Shiva. After watching I felt how simple and how much complex Shiva is. In this Sadhguru says this : When we say Shiva , if you look at his life process , he went through everything that a human being would go through. He is many things at the same time . He is the most beautiful , he is the ugliest. He is a great ascetic , he is a family person , he is most disciplined , he is a drunkard .He is a dancer , he is absolutely still . Gods worship him, demons worship him , all kinds of creatures worship him. Whatever we say about Shiva , you must understand the very opposite also truth. He is Bhairava, the most fearsome, one who is of quick temper and immense violence . He is also the most compassionate . He is the Sundara murty , a seducer , a gallant lover and a compassionate romantic being . He is also the thandava murty , one whose dance would destroy the very process of Creation . At the same time he is Achaleswara , absolute stillness. , one who does not know any movement. Shiva ia yogi who should not be named. To name is to limit and curtail. At the same time , the many many names of his , the sum total of all these names is an absolute representation of the whole Universe, all its complexities . A representation of all the unfathomable mysteries of Existence.If you can accept him, who is a complex formation of every kind of every quality that you find on this planet , you have crossed life itself. The whole idea is to destroy your logical mind so that you can open up to a different dimension of Life altogether . Magha Triodasi following Magha Poornima is the Grand festival -Maha Shiivaratri. As is the convention this year too , Maha Shivaratri was celebrated on 11.03.2021 in a Grand manner in Sree Rajarajeswari Visweswara Swamy vari Historic Temple at Ontimamidi. Rudrabhishekam to Lord Shri Visweswara Swamy in the temple was performed continuously through out the day till Lingodbhavam ( liNgoodbhvN ) .It was wonderful sight to see Lord Shiva having Ksheeraabhishekam ) - kssiiraabhisseekN. Shiva popularly called Bhola Shankar is simple , multidimensional and compassionate. Om Namassivaaya

Historical significance site. We can find rock sculptures scattered here and there lying peacefully in sand trying to tell us the history and tales of the glorious fast. ASI or archeological department should conduct some observation or research on this site so that we will come to know the untold stories or history of this site.. From the carvings on the rock we can observe sculptures of the persons hunting with animals , bow and arrows, horses. Or it may be a war in which both male and females participated with horses bow and arrows and other animals. These sculptures looks to be thousands of years old. The facts can only be known when experts conduct a survey here.
