One Hotel Lake Residency - Hotel in Ooty - The Nilgiris, India

A great place to stay for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The hotel is located right on the lake, and the views are stunning. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Literally the worst hotel in this price range Quality of rooms and service provided is maximum at par with a Rs700/Rs800 hotel. Hygeine is not cared for and smell was pathetic. Couldn't even sleep at night.

The worst hotel to ever stay in. Please do not waste your time in this hotel. In this price you will get much better hotels. The rooms are so dirty, damp, cob webs everywhere. Looks like they cleant the room some years back. Not maintainex at all. The electric kettle all is broken.. very very dirty rooms. Please request all not to stay here.

As a location it is good. It is in front of ooty boat house. Everything is accessible from the place. Service is also good but rooms are not super clean. They need to maintain hygiene for the room. Changing and cleaning the rooms every day is needed.

1. Beds are not cleaned 2. Bathroom is stinking like public toilets 3. Bed bugs 4. No privacy with sounds, you can easily hear musical sounds from other rooms. Got disturbed in the middle of the night. 5. Not well maintained Please do not prefer this hotel

Only the price is comparatively good part as it offers you 2000/- room even on new yr night which we checked in yesterday. But trust me they have rusted water jugs, filthy utensil/drinking water glasses, no kettle in room ( a must in hill stn like ooty) , pathetic hygiene, no food available. You have to order from a restaurant adjacent to the hotel which won't let THEIR CUTLERY be taken into hotel room. Pungent smell in the room as well as linen. The tap of bathroom was broken and wall tiles were full of hair stuck over it. Not even complimentary bisleri bottles being provided. Don't go by the photographs hotel has to offer, i am posting the real images . Overall heart breaking experience in a much hyped place of such wonderful Destination.

It was bad experience in this hotel, i will recommend don't choose this hotel, in Ooty if any auto drivers will refer this hotel don't listen both hotel and auto drivers will cheaters they have have snatched money from us , we didn't stay in the hotel but still they have looted our money and they haven't refunded our money, we have been cancelled due non availability of proper hospitality,that we have cancelled within 10min and they haven't given our money back, both hotels and auto drivers got time up and we got scammed they have looted us.in Ooty better to book good ratings hotels even though if costly, because safety is important.

Don't choose this place following the photos provided by the owners. The rooms are not clean,the surroundings are dirty and hot water is not available for most of the time. It's not worth your money. The only pros are location(near to boat house) and a nearby restaurant.
