Onam Park, Mavelipuram - Park in Kakkanad - Ernakulam, India

I didn't see any swings and slides for kids to play there.

Easy to access as it is located by the wayside of the Seaport-Airport road that runs in front of this park which is located near the Ernakulam Collectorate - which is the major landmark in this vicinity. The facade (name-bearing arch) itself proclaims its presence if not the obvious Landscaped Garden layout. A Beautiful hang-out space to get out of the din and dust of the urban setting outside.

Pure idiotic decision by the authorities to convert a playground which had been used by children in this area into a recreational place of no use.. please come ans take a look at the pathetic situation if this place now..full of long grasses, poorly maintained infrastructure..and most importantly children doesn't have a ground to play now

Nice place to spend some time in the evening.. calm and quiet. We can read from the open book library as well, great initiative. Children's functions are also there..

this park is meant for the elders not for the children... this park provide a good atmosphere for spending evening with friends and family.... it has a calm atmosphere.... it is actually a small park..... but it is quite good one.... it has a greater space for the evening walks....

It's a park for elders and not children. No space for children's to play. Good for morning/evening walk or jogging. Usually there will be some sort of public programs held there.
