My stay at Omsam Guest Home in Varkala was a delightful experience. The wooden-walled rooms provided a cozy and homely atmosphere, making me feel comfortable throughout my stay. What truly set this guest home apart was the partial sea view and the balcony in the room. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and being able to step out onto the balcony to enjoy the sea breeze was simply incredible. The staff's hospitality was exceptional. They were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. From offering local tips to making sure I had a pleasant stay, their warmth and dedication made me feel like a valued guest. The location of Omsam Guest Home is perfect, with easy access to Varkala's beautiful beaches and the bustling local market. It's an ideal place for both relaxation and exploration. The combination of a serene environment, comfortable accommodations, and the partial sea view from the room, along with the outstanding hospitality, made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend Omsam Guest Home to anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic retreat in Varkala

I had my worst experience, no water bottle, untidy towels, i agreed for two days stay, they asked me leave the property next day as they forget to block the room online and someone booked it.. they treated me very rude...i will not reconnect to anyone

Omsam is a good option in varakal. Very near to the beach. Hardly 2mins walk. The only issue is you need to arrange lunch and dinner as the guest home does not serve food and nearby is not a great option for food. You can place orders for food from nearby restaurants and they will deliver it. Overall decent stay. One plus point, pets are allowed.

I don't like to put a single star also. We had a bad experience here. We didn't expect such a room for this cost & breakfast also very normal and arranged outside food. Poor maintenance of room and lot of insects are coming inside the room in between the wood false ceiling.Totally not satisfied. I don't recommend this hotel.

Very unclean rooms with dust all over. Not at all maintained. The room rates were costly with poor services. Felt cheated. There were cockroaches and lizards in the rooms, we had to leave the room very soon because of the poor hygiene. The rooms aren't sea facing as shown in pictures. Unclean towels, no proper toiletries are provided. Door locks are defective with creaking noises. In the paid room rent, you will definitely get another good luxurious hotel in varkala. Only good thing was breakfast. Won't recommend for a stay with family.

Amazing service provided by Riju & Team. Complete ancient wood work accommodation which made the stay pleasant. Whatever the request we had was fullfiled. Example, providing idli for dinner for senior citizen. Thank you.

Not Disable friendly. Good service. Room ambience is good.

Room was unclean and dusts were all over Lizards and cockroaches were our uninvited guests. (Thanks to HIT Spray) Toiletries include nothing except 1 medimix soap Not sure whether they have attempted to maintain the room, doors, locks etc in the recent past. Felt like I was in the Thekkini room (but didnt see any Nagavali, thank god) Beach view was offered. However i had to climb a coconut tree to see the same view. Between beach and guest home, there is a road and another resort covering the beach. Overall paid Rs 6600 for two rooms/night to have an unpleasant experience. Learned how not to book a place by trusting online reviews and images.
