Very calm and serene. Filled with positive energy. The temple is maintained well and strict dress code is followed. You can see big fishes in the nearby pond
Old & historic template centrally located in Madikeri and has a very serene experience while visit. The place is easily accessible and the compound first has a lake located with a temple ahead. The template is beautiful inside and the arati time visit was a very divine experience. A must visit for anyone visiting Madikeri, Coorg.
Beautiful pond, with large number of fish. You may also see some turtles if you are lucky. Nice and peaceful place. Best to visit in the evening.

Built in 19th century, in 1820, by King Lingarajendra II presenting an interesting architecture that attracts not only devotees but everyone. This is a small holy pond, East of the Omkareshwara tempke. The temple is unlike any other Dravidian temple and closely resembles Islamic architecture. In-between the pond is a nice little mantapam. The pond has some colorful koi fish and this section is the temple's highlight.
