Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Front office were very friendly and polite.Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner.

I had an enjoyable lunch today. The food was superb, especially their crab soup. I opted for the buffet on the 2nd floor, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. One thing that truly stood out was the ambiance. It created the perfect setting for a delightful lunch or dinner. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and savor the meal. I wasn't dining alone; I was with my office colleagues, and they too loved the place. It's not often that everyone in a group agrees on a restaurant, but this one was a unanimous hit. The location is another plus point. It's conveniently located within walking distance from Kadavanthra Metro station. This makes it easily accessible, and we didn't have to worry about transportation hassles. Overall, it was a delightful experience. The combination of exquisite food, a pleasant ambiance, and easy accessibility made it a memorable lunch outing. I'll definitely be returning here for more delicious meals in the future.

Other than attend a training here, I have not stayed in this hotel. The location is good. However the service really needs to improve in the restaurant as there is no coordinating between the waiters and the kitchen. The air conditioning is not reliable and though we called the staff's attention to this matter, nothing was done to resolve it. The tea is served within 90 mts of having lunch.... The food is excellent but the service is very poor. The staff are well behaved though.

Neatness of the rooms depending on which floor you get , I stayed 4 days on 7th floor ( 2 days in executive and 2 days in standard rooms) which was neat and clean.... Since i had to stay back i approached for a standard room after a day again where they provided rooms in 5th floor where it was super stinky !!! I had to run away from there and asked to upgrade for an executive room for the price i already discussed with the sales team for both standard and executive just few hours back , I was okay to pay the executive rooms price which i was discussed with sales, since the demand is high they wanted me to pay higher price which wasn't discussed yet ..they know the client stayed there for 4 days & he is asking for a change because rooms are stinky, which they could have been managed well professionally but they just demanded higher price for executive rooms which wasn't discussed at all , i wouldn't mind paying higher price for executive rooms but the way they change the word on pricing was unacceptable and walked off from there.....anyways wont prefer olive anymore However , few plus points here I observed on my first 4 days to be highlighted, Good break fast , gym is okay , swimming pool seems unused for long so not experienced it ... Best part of it is the service people , they are always available over a call , especially the guy " prince" who is in charge for 7th floor is very gentle with his approach & he is always available for any help , he is very matured and he know his responsibilities towards hotel and customers well when he is working for such a big hotel .. such ground level people are asset to any hotel as they also kind of promoting/Marketing the hotel the way they responds to the customers ... Sales team needs to be more professional in their approach...

Olive downtown is my favorite hotel in Cochin, I'm a regular visitor and stay there almost every month, recently while staying in Olive Downtown I fell sick with fever and vomiting and my mobile was switched off it was around 11 am and I was still in bed and down with fever, as it was getting late in the day my friend and my wife knowing that I was staying in Olive Downtown called the hotel as my number was not reachable, since these days nobody calls the reception to connect to the guests the hotel front office team led by Ms. Anjana came to my room to check as I did not have my breakfast also. After I told them that I was down with fever the hotel team immediately arranged their hotel car and took me to the nearest hospital and got me treated. My sincere thanks to the team at Olive Downtown especially Ms. Anjana for their proactive support and help and the way they went out of the way to help me when I was alone and in need of help. Had a lovely stay. A much needed vacation which turned out to be more fun and entertaining than expected. The whole ambiance of the hotel and the lovely people there were the major reason for that. Especially the "young and fun" front office department. Never had a warm and exciting experience with the front office department before. A great stay
