It is a historical monument. I think it may be a watch tower on the old era. There is no board available described about the place. This tower is totally closed . Can't enter inside. The structure of the building is very beautiful. Surroundings of this building is not well maintained. I feel, the Authorities ignoring this monument. * I have posted few pictures of this place. This is a water tank, Similar one can be found near Boat Club just around next cross road towards Pune Station. Yes, Ignored and it is standing only because of its sturdy structure. Else with today's standard of construction, this may not withhold even 4 monsoons.

This is one of old structure located on old pune mumbai highway. Not a tourist attractions or a must visit place... Just normal standalone tiny building of stones.
It is old Coursed Rubble Masonary work. Though it is histiric, but making hinderance to traffic on highway. It has become an illegal activity place in night time.
