This one broken but still look was good full pier I go to end of the pier really peace full place siting with hear the melody song and see the ocean out of level feeling I recommend for alone lover's
One of the best photoshoot places in Pondicherry . Sunrise veiw was awesome from this place. We can veiw fisherman life, boating fishing etc. Few movies also taken here. Hotspot and must visit place in pondicherry... very calm and pleasant place after good walk from rock beach..
The best place to visit the sunrise in pondicherry out of all the things we did in pondy this is one of the best activities , I simply loved it . If you love taking photos this is the spot i would recommend to you in Pondicherry , A must visit place
It's a nice place. There is rock beside the jetty. It is closed. It was too old and they are not allowing to walk over the bridge.It is good place for photos as well as to roam. This place is even shown in the movie-Life of Pie

Good for photoshoots and for a walk (alone or with your loved ones!)The Pondicherry pier, is quite a popular place and I think it is worth a visit to learn about the place, experience serenity and of course click some fabulous pictures/shoot some nice snippets. The pier where once the French boats docked, is now only a part of what it used to be before it was destroyed by the cyclone in the 1950s. As you can see in the picture, it's not in the best condition anymore.
broken pier, looks like a bridge, interesting look. You can walk upto this place and take pictures. Many people swim near this place as water is safer here compared to other places in pondicherry bridge.
