Old Kundan Dhaba - Indian restaurant in Amritsar - Amritsar, India

I was recommended the special kulcha by the person at the counter, since I wanted to try this Amritsar speciality while I was there. The ambience is nice, I was seated on the first floor, there is a special lift for the food itself, the waiter just has to collect the food plate from the lift and take it to the customer. Coming to the special kulcha, the quantity didn't justify the price. The chole also wasn't to my liking. I should have researched for food joints whose speciality was The Amritsari Kulcha, maybe next time.

*The worst biriyani I ever had!oh! I didn't even have this,I wasted the whole biriyani because on a serious note it's too bad! *Tandoori chicken was good, seasoned, juicy. *Butter chicken was too good,gravy was awesome. *Butter naan was good,but It should be more soft and thick.

I ordered Punjabi thali. Lachha parantha tasted very great. The parantha was seperating in different layers and shahi paneer was on the moon. The dal makhani and rice combination was great. Moreover, the raita was awesome with all spices and onions in it. The food tastes very good here. I need to mention the taste of gulab jamun. It just melted in mouth within no time. I urge you to taste it. Gulab jamun was icing on the cake.

Do not order from this restaurant through Zomato or Swiggy as they are scammed with portion size of Main Course. The quantity of Vegetables is not the same as when you dine there.

Has a tv to keep entertained while waiting for food which came reasonably fast. The food was quite good. Tried makke ki roti and saag. The quantity of food is large in biryani and chicken curries which is justified in price. Overall nice experience.

I visited this Dhaba today due to proximity to the Amritsar Railway Station. My train arrived late and hence was looking for something light to eat. One of the Auto Rickshaw driver suggested me this Dhaba in the proximity as mentioned above. The service staff was really friendly and they ensured my food was delivered in a jiffy. Shoutout to Amit and Manish. They suggested me Daal Makhni and Butter Roti. I went ahead with it. The food was overall delicious. I had great time here. Kudos to the Dhaba's service staff. The ambience of the Dhaba was also decent.

If we talk about food, it is value for money, tasty, hygienic Clean environment Near to railway station Nicely maintained Spacious enough, has 2 floors for restaurant purpose and total 5 floors with rooms on top! They also have a lift, if you tired and do not want to use the stairs... I ordered aloo parantha and tea and both were up to the mark Washroom was clean and not smelly as well, however water supply wasn't adequate The only reason for rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is the attitude of staff, You people need to hire a professional staff, who is all smiles to the customers and more polite!
