Though this place is in the heart of Burdwan, the condition of this hostel is not inhabitable, we know that. Soon the students will be shifted to new banabas hostel and unless the renovation is completed here, no new boarders will be allowed to stay here.
Very bad experience,no wifi,food is trash,only 2 meals per day. Girls hostel get 4 meals a day. It's a real struggle Edit : Not to scare the common folks but recently there have been instances of unexplainable supernatural activity. Many have witnessed it. You may ask an inhabitant or the warden about it,no hoax intended!!!!
Its a nasty place where you won't feel comfortable. Food quality provided here is really bad and tastes so evil. You can play Indoor games like carrom board in the hostel. You can play volleyball in the ground. Around 100+ students seats are available in this hostel. Toilets are really unequipped. Maintenance of the place is worst. But you will surely enjoy your friends company here.
It doesn't even deserve 1 star also. If you are alloted in this hostel please don't come here. Life is like hell here. You will get far better private hostels near UIT for the same price. The hostel is extremely dirty and living conditions are very bad. Bathrooms are not clean at all. Very much unhygienic conditions.
It is the 1st year boys hostel of University Institute of technology,Burdwan. It is in the main market and about the condition of the hostel,It is not GOOD.there are two hostel one APC and other is old banabas hostel.conditions of the two hostel is not GOOD as it should be.
Infrastructure of these buildings are in bad condition now as of 2023
