It is wonderful place for a evening walk. Also it is one of the must watch places in Rameswaram.. we have noticed many water species in this area. The best part of this beach is, it is a flat beach with less water and no waves. You can walk on water without getting wet... if you wish to become wet, you can do that too... Kids loved this place. I highly recommend
Not clean. But beautiful beach.
Only good thing here is the brick arc and the coconut trees behind it. From there you can get wide view of sea. Best to visit during surnrise. The water and the sea shore here is very dirty. No sea waves because the water is shallow, you can walk over into the water upto some 20meters but the bed here is very dirty. I will not recommend to visit this beach.
Nothing much to see here... Beach is shallow.. no waves... But we went to see the sunrise here. as it would be comparatively secluded than the sunrise point.. There are a lot of coconut trees.. and if you look closely. You can find remains of starfish, semi intact seashells. On our trip we found to big shells and calcified remains of a sea urchin.. we took it home as a souvenir. This place is close to the Holy island water sports..
Not all those who wander are lost... the sunset is more spectacular than you could have ever witnessed .....this place is suprb the sound of ocean is soothing...but i want to say every tourist please clean the place where will you go.....don't harm the natural places beauty....
The beach is good, but the people here have made it dirty by littering. I wouldn't recommend this beach. You can go to many other beaches which are a little far away from the town and enjoy better views.
