worst stay ever,No working wifi,wet towels given,no soap,no clean bedsheets,no power back up.Not very helpful staff and no other basic facilities.

Cancelled my appointment on the day I was due to arrive during peak season! Rude on the phone and offered no help. Had to pay triple the price somewhere else. Frantic trying to find somewhere.

Positive: Location was great, just next to the beach cliff , though pretty far approx 1.5km from the climb down stairs to the beach. Beach cliff market is great with variety of food/ coffee /shopping etc. Staff is courteous, but don't care much.. I think they are there to collect payment and not much more. Negative: Well this is NOT a resort, I would say more of a Hostel with great location. Location on Google maps is shown much closer to beach, but its wrongly marked(deliberately I guess). Its on the cliff, but more than 1.5KM which you must walk to the beach stairs. Property is run down, rooms have more than enough ants anywhere you look, on floors, walls, just abt everywhere. Spill even an ounce of food and you see zillion ant queuing up for a feast. Ants were on the bed too but not much! DO NOT expect ANY service AT ALL. I asked for tea in the morning the service staff had a Zombie looking face and disappeared without a response. Then I realized they DONT have any service or staff. No tea, no food... You need to climb down to the cliff restaurants for that. I asked again for tea and was told, we have a kitchen (a terribly run down one), you can prepare on your own. 2 bottles of Mineral water a day were promised everyday, but they had to be coaxed out of the staff with numerous reminders and on the 3rd day we were told that you have had more than enuf water bottles. We said we will pay if they are additional and they got us 2 bottles, un-sealed.. not sure where it was filled up. Booked a Villa and a delux room, but was provided 2 delux rooms and additional charge was not refunded. Since we checking in late after the 12 hr drive from bangalore, we didn't argue or care. Next day when I asked for refund , rest 24 hours staff almost disappeared and provided no help for water , car parking or anything else. Rooms locks are horrendous, a small kick could throw the door open, i never ventured away from my room alone for the safety of my family, specially since there is no security and anyone could walk down anywhere with staff not to be seen anywhere. I think this is Hostel backpacker accommodation, mostly for foreigners who don't bother for any service or hospitality.. bed/room tea. A big NO NO for family trip looking for safety or comfort or relaxation.

Paradise indeed! Beautiful stay and an extremely professional host. This place was above and beyond my expectations. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and has a decent parking space. Will be coming back here more often!

The rooms are clean and the place is very peaceful. The toilets are also well maintained. They leave a book in every room when we check in and that was a nice touch. We got the rooms for about rs 500 per room per night. The caretakers were also very helpful. The place is right on the cliff. The place was always wet but that is because of the monsoon and I actually liked it. Overall, I'd recommend this place for people looking for affordable stay in varkala

Heavily disappointed !! I booked a room via online and the room was confirmed and my arrival time given was in the evening. What happened then was really shocking. They just cancelled my confirmed order and gave it to another team. I came to the resort and was shocked like hell. Such a dangerous guys they are.

We stayed in a cute little beach hut, and enjoyed reading and watching the ocean from our porch. Comfortable beds. Suhail is a fantastic host, willing to go the extra mile, including picking me up medicine when I had a cold without my even asking. They have a cute little gathering space and a yoga hall on the roof. If I were looking for a space to host a yoga retreat in varkala I'd definitely consider Paradise Beach.

Iam very glad to announce that paradise provide much clam and quite atmosphere to you. It is not a hevy or luxury but beautiful under our budget.
