I visited the Octopus View Point on the back from Srisailam, and it was a fantastic experience. The viewpoint offers a stunning view of the backwaters of the Krishna River, surrounded by hills and forests. Its well-maintained and the location is easily accessible, and there is decent parking space available. The View Point is breathtaking, with the river and its backwaters creating a serene and peaceful ambiance. The lush greenery of the surrounding hills and forests adds to the beauty of the location. The view was really awesome. But we went on end of summer season, so we missed the greenery. The place was not dried. But I can guarantee on monsoon this place will be even more better. For car entrance they charge 50 rupees plus per person 10 rupees. Hardly we can park 10-15 card inside. The road to destination from main highway is not that good. Full of stones here and there. So be careful while driving.
Many times I went Srisailam in a year twice I use to visit but I don't know this place .. I was shocked ...then I planned to visit with my Friends. At Octopus view point it was Amazing Atmosphere and Nature which I enjoyed lot their . There is no words to express more but ... Visit this place to enjoy Nature and don't expect anything in this place more expect Nature and views ...

It was a surreal experience with a lot of calmness and peace in nature. I went on a rainy day, the weather was sexy, blue and so smooth and the roads were filled with fog . Aesthetical people will love this place! Note: Carry cash to buy tickets at the entrance.
Nature at its best. Its open from 9 am till 5 pm. Plan your trip accordingly so that you dont miss out.
Amazing view point, while the road to reach this view point is bumpy with huge rocks and single lane, but after you see the point forget the rest. Awesome
Not worthy the hype, they charge 20rs person and 50rs for car parking with no parking area nor an approachable road. Perhaps it might be better to visit in rainy season but carry binoculars to see boats on the river.
