They did not provide any complimentary water bottles. The build is old. And we found cockroaches in the room. 2 to be exact. Not for people who look for cleanliness. Very bad room conditions. But the service was very good. Other than that it's a room with no hygiene or cleanliness.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. It is easily accessible to the bus stand or metro. The photos and reviews are very deceptive. Rooms were just decent, everything looks worn out and old including the bed linen. AC and TV were in working condition. They don't provide complimentary water bottles, a water barrel is placed beside the lift of each floor where you can go fill water yourself. Not worth beyond Rs 1000-1200 per night, considering the prime location being it's plus point. They asked me to rate them 5 star and a positive review, following which they would refund a discount of Rs 500 to me, which probably explains all the positive reviews.

Octave hotel is clean and centrally located. They provide room service for food, also there are veg and non veg restaurants close by. Staff is very cooperative. Manager Pushparaj have helped us a lot during our stay when my child had some minor health issues. V have stayed in this hotel three times and everytime it's a pleasant stay. Hoping to continue in future .

Very untied place.. shabby curtains.. dirtiest washroom.. noisy cots... Stay was like hell.. I have never seen such a worst maintenance

Excellent location, excellent room and excellent staff. Clean and well furnished rooms at the reasonable rate. My stay was pleasant there. Should be one of the best hotels to stay in shanti nagar, bengaluru. Highly recommended.

Don't look at the photos.. they are utter nonsense.. no matches with actual .. no safety on doors they are just hanged on a century old single piece of vijagiri How come they can claim it's a 3 star property?

After going through the reviews booked and Stayed for 2 days. Location is the biggest advantage of this Hotel. But this has to be converted to a good customer experience. Few things that definitely needs to be improved and which that can done easily to get this hotel to next level experience are below 1. Cleanliness - The lobby carpets needs to be redone completely as its completely stained and smells bad. This one thing can make a big difference. Customer when they enter the floor lobby the if the first thing they see is a bad carpet and a foul smell that changes the entire stay experience. Even if rooms are clean this just bothers a lot. 2. Foul smell in bathroom. Bathroom even though looked clean , but did not smell good. there was always a bad smell. Probs needs to remove all moulds, clean all the pipes and clean the exhaust fan. Other than this room was spacious and value for money.

It was a nice stay. Everyone was sweet and quick. A great value hotel.
