One of the underrated restaurants in Coimbatore, as far I'm concerned. I would rate 3.5 out of 5 for this restaurant. Being a sea food restaurant I fell they have lot of varieties in fishes,squid,lobster,shrimps , crab and prawns. Form their it's seen that their signature is prawn dishes. I've ordered squid fry which I've felt so crispy and battered very well, the thing is I couldn't find the squid taste rather batter was overtaken. Next I've ordered sea food fried rice which consists of fish, prawns and crab. I've felt crab was very minimum where I was searching whether it is there or not, but taste good. They have a good quite ambiance and I've felt the dishes are over priced compared to other places.
Underated restaurant..One of the worst experience ..they cost 750 for this pomfret fish.. which is really unfair..quality of the fish also bad ..I ll never suggest this restaurant in food street..n
If you love sea foods, you will be happy to be here. Though it's a small place which could accommodate around 20-25 persons the ambience is good. We went for lunch, if we have been gone for dinner the ambience could have been felt better. Coming to the food, in 'Fisherman's Catch Mini Seafood Platter' we got full Sherry Fish, 8 breaded prawns, full King Crab, 4 stir fry Mussels, Mashed potato with ghee, Mayo dip, tomato ketchup and French fries. Additionally we ordered some Prawn Tawa fry, Prawn Dum Briyani, Prawn Noodles, (what, looks everything in prawn ? Since they serve only sea food, there are not much a choice like you get in regular non veg restaurants) The Crab lollipop was really great. It was fleshier than you get in any other place in Coimbatore. We were interested to have Squid Rings but Shrimps and Squids were not available. Momos were also missing. I don't know how or why, Rosemilk, Lemonade, Lemon Soda and Fresh Fruit juice comes under Mocktails in their menu Points of concern 1 - No AC was running. Only one pedestal fan was in action. Atleast the AC could have been switched on after customers occupy the tables. 2 - No Credit/Debit cards accepted. Its said that the machine is not working but I didn't see any 'Cards Accepted' display anywhere in the restaurant. Only UPI payment display was there. Its better to keep the customers informed about this, because now-a-days usage of cards is everywhere more than cash or UPI payments.
This restaurant serves only wonderful delicious seafoods .First of all I would like to say about the hospitality it was very nice. Then the taste of foods are very authentic flavour.No artificial ingredients added.biriyani was very mild and taste full.personally enjoyed the taste of Red snipper and prawns.The ambience of restaurant was peaceful.
Relished gastronomical delights.The ambience and customer service is awesome. All the dishes had balanced flavours... Juicy and crunchy crab, fish meal, jumbo prawns & tawa prawns...taste buds would not stop asking for more-- Mmmuuuah !!
The restaurant is specially for sea food lover, Great ambiance, good hospitality, live fish counter and all the fishes are fresh, you can choose variety of fish from the live counter. Hygienic and healthy food no artificial colors or any chemicals added. It gave feel like having a home food with a very good taste. My suggestion to have lobster and king crab. Especially flavoured beeda(even children's can have)
As earlier as i have explained if u are a sea food lover never miss out this place , enthralled a friend taking him here . Each and every fish over here r from the scientist himself who changed his profession to cooking comes from different ports of cape comerin. Took a complete sea food thali consisting of biriyani , crab soup ,gravies, rice and fish fry (red snapper )..... i love the prawn biriyani here less oily cooked with so much of finesse . Had ordered a KING FISH it was like a real KING in size and flavour .... and then came the real HERO of the meal CALAMARI RINGS which bowled over my friend awesome it was .... finished off with a MOJITO! It was a satisfied meal
