Oasis - Radisson Blu - Restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

I came here looking at the reviews but it does not live up to the expectations. Right off the bat, we were bummed out with the list of vegetarian options available but wanted to give it a try to see if the taste matches the price. Boy oh boy was i dissapointed. The live counters had nothing except paneer which was hardly good. Just, blant, paneer. Then we tried the malai paneer tikka and mushroom starters which were colder than a white walker. Main courses were good but there were 10 different salads and only 5 main course options?? Just why?? The dessert section is the most puzzling part to us. We could not distinguish one cake from another. All of them tasted like wet sponges. The buffer is rs.1995/ per person and the service is god awful. Other barbeque houses have better service for 3 times the lesser price. Overall a very puzzling experience for me. Not worth the price.

Despite the fact that the place is amazing and the decorations and interior designing is fantastic, the food here isn't that great. Maybe an off night is when I stumbled about this restaurant, but the pricing is definitely not worthy of the food served here. Cold stale food on the buffet. Dessert spread and presentation is plausible but definitely not palatable. Not recommended for any occasion.

I wanted to take my friends for a nice buffet in Radisson blue group. Based on my previous experience with Radisson blu, Bangalore I gave a try to this Oasis restaurant. If you are someone who like spicy and hot food, then this place is not for you. I somehow felt the food was not going for my taste and it was the same for all my friends. The had very less menu compared to my Bangalore experience. The deserts were good. Not very impressed with the main courses. Starters were really less and they weren't so good too. It was an okay okay experience. Soups were not good at all.

We had a great experience. One of the best in last few years of dining at different restaurant. Initially felt odd about starters on table but later realised that the fresheness of the food made it worth to be served. They were happy to refill items we asked for. Desert spread was very good. Service was superb and extremely courteous. It was overall wonderful experience. Note: Don't expect a lavish spread, njoy the quality and service.

Do you ever dine at a restaurant and you instantly settle on the thought that it is the best fine dining experience you've had ? Oasis , at Radisson Blu gave me one such experiences. Ambience - Oasis is easily one of the most comfortable and ritzy place to have dinner at. Be it a business meet, family dinner or even a date , Oasis is suitable for all purposes. They have a huge buffet hall which is comfortable and vast to walk around and get your food at ease. Food: Starting from their crunchy and flavorful starters such as chicken 65, piri piri paneer, fried fish and Gobi Manchurian to their scrumptious variety of desserts nothing fell short of our expectations for a luxury dining experience. They had a wide variety of salads and a counter which allows you to make your own salad as well. Their main course options were vast , such as to suit the need of people with different expectations. They had Indian and continental, both of which were equally luscious. If you have a chance to request for their chef' special dark chocolate pastry dessert , please do try ! It is one of the best dessert's I've ever had ! Service: Starting from the minute we entered the place till we left after our heavy and brilliant dinner , the staff were extremely courteous and attended to our requirements promptly. The manager was kind enough to ask us about our experience and spend time in explaining the details behind the dining experience they offer. It was a great experience dining at Oasis and I'd go back anyday to have a hearty meal !

Tried their weekend brunch buffet. The range was quite extensive: North and South Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and European. There was a live grill, a brick pizza oven, chaat stall and egg station. Some flavours were slightly modified to appeal to the local palate; the modifications were not so subtle in quite a few of the dishes. Price was pretty reasonable and included open bar.

So I recently visit here for a dinner buffet during a weekday and I was quite impressed! I loved everything about it - food quality, extensive food options, hospitality, service, and my overall dining experience! Here's what I had from the buffet: 1. Manchow Soup 2. Starters and Salads: Achari Paneer Tikka and Corn and Cheese Nuggets for Starters, and Mexican Rice Salad, Hawaiian Salad, and Fattoush Salad. 3. Main Course: Punjabi Subz Pulao with Dal Tadka, and Schezwan Veg Fried Rice with Stir Fry Veg and Black bean Sauce. 4. Desserts: Cut Fruits, Strawberry Pana Cotta, Chocolate Brownie, Blueberry Cheesecake, Milk Kesar Barfi, and Strawberry Ice Cream. 5. Drinks: I preferred to have Coke. If you prefer buffets and want to experience fine dining in the city, do visit this place!
