Oak Valley Resort - Resort hotel in Kotagiri, Kukkal - The Nilgiris, India

Rooms are very neat and clean. The location is very good, super scenery from balcony. Staffs are very good. Good service. Would recommend for others and would stay in same place for next visit.

Peaceful stay.. Clean and neat rooms, situated in a peaceful location.. Very near to Uyilatti waterfalls - you can take a bath there based on climate factors (call and check with the resort guy before you go).. Food could be a problem - resort is located in a secluded place, no shops for at least 2 kms.. Resort doesn't have an in-house kitchen, they arrange food from a nearby place (you can choose the menu, but food was very average).. Be prepared with a lot of snacks before you go..

The name seems to be a good report but the resort is just a normal one only. Not much liked the vibes. There is a small view infront. Don't pay them for extra grill food for night bcs the taste will be worse and rate is too high.

The rooms are okay at best with basic amenities. There are no food joints nearby. The location is fantastic with great views and absolute peace and quiet.

A good place to chill out, nice view from the rooms! Owners were very friendly. Heard this is a new management! Rooms were neat but can be better in terms on cleanliness. Food was good, we had a customization required - they did it well. One con - the owners can be less noisy after a certain time of night. Disturbing to people.

Nice and calm place to stay. But we have to travel some distance from the main town to reach. But it's worth to travel and stay here. It's recommended to go with a car not by bus or van. Very limited parking facility available. And we can't park van or bus. Rates will be depending on season. There is a waterfalls available near this resort and we can go down the hill and we have a good view and make use of the waterfall and resort.

Good property for a calm and comfortable stay . The balcony view is mind blowing.... Good service... Food was also good...

It's great scenic view right from the room stay gave a pleasant experience during my wake up! Indeed a mountain right infront of eyes...The food served on request was home made and good on our tummy making our stay a cool one and the care given by Rajan sir and his son Naveen was appreciatable like hot piping tea any time and many more....I would defenitly recommend any family to have a stay when planning to visit ooty
