Necklace road is a good place have a good chit and chat with friends and family... good for morning and evening walking..The State government has initiated measures to go ahead with its plan of developing tourist destinations in Nellore, especially a 'Necklace road' along the bank of the Swarnala Cheruvu, on the lines of the one surrounding the Hussainsagar in Hyderabad. According to the district officials, proposals are being prepared to develop the 'Necklace road' where the tourists, visitors and people can frequent to relax. Site inspection A team of officials of Andhra Pradesh Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APUFDC), along with its Managing Director Madhusudhan Reddy and District Collector M. Janaki visited the areas identified for the project on Thursday. A decision has been taken that the 'Necklace road' will not be developed along the water spread area of Swarnala Cheruvu. The part of the adjoining land coming under the limits of the Nellore Municipal Corporation will be used for this project.
