Darlipali Super Thermal Power Station situated at Darlipali village in Sundargarh district of Odisha. The power plant is one of the coal based power plants of NTPC Limited. They have a two units...each have a 800Mw capacity. Plant is under construction by Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL).
Its ok because,ntpc plant is too close to village,and the villagers will not be able to cultivate now. Ntpc did not even give job to the villagers.

This power project was started on 10 November 2014 for 2x800 MW power generation work, whereas it has sanctioned for 3x800MW project. Very slow progress, communication from its nearest town I.e. from Sundergarh and Jharsuguda was very poor in initial stage. Probably power generation will be started by the end of 2019 or early in 2020.
