The food quality is very poor. Warden and other staffs are not cooperative. The plug points are not good for charging. My laptop charger was damaged by using the hostel plug points. We are not allowed to buy food from outside. Every morning we can see rats running around the corridor. There are four cats in the hostel which roam around the mess hall all the time. If lucky you can see fish skeleton the cat took and left in the mess hall. If something gets damaged, for example lights it will take weeks and months for them to repair it or to replace a bulb. Many nights in a row water ran out of taps and the warden will never refill the tank at night. Its very difficult to manage to go to bathroom and if you have periods its a nightmare. The food dustbins are not managed properly and are not clean, every morning you can see big rats in the dustbin. The drinking water is not kept clean, every time you can see hair or dirt in the drinking water.

It's a typical working women's hostel... walkable distance to hospital,malls etc. The caretaker/guardian is a nice lady... The top floors get really hot during the summers but if u are working elsewhereI don't think this would be an issue. Thr is food delivery available here so if u r nt a big fan of mess food, u always have a backup. The downside of this hostel is they have no charging points in the room...so if u feel like a midnight tea/coffee to stay awake...it won't happen.... The charging points are kept on the ground floor...dts a bit sadistic I feel.....bt well...if it works fr them ...thn it works ...I guess?! Anyway, nt a bad experience staying here...

I was an inmate of the hostel for about 6 months. The good thing about the hostel is cleanliness of toilets and corridors. But you have to clean the room yourself. The hostel situates in a prime location and 24 hours security is available. The foremost problem is electricity. No plugpoint is provided in room and only common charging with scheduled time. (7am to 10 am and 5 pm to 10 pm) Between 10am to 5 pm charging can't be accessible. Also you have to turn off your lights at 10 pm everyday. For study purpose you can use a common part of corridor which is noisy .Mosquitoes are another major problem because the ventilation is not covered by net .Mornings usually start with water shortage. Food quality is very poor. Only one side dish will be provided with the rice excluding a curry and pickle for lunch and dinner.Warden and other staffs are not so much cooperative. The rent is exorbitant (5100for double occupied rooms )when comparing to the service provided. But it is a good place for secretariat staffs.

The quality of food is too low. According to warden the rate for food per a day is 100, then the quality is must be like that. If u want more tasty food, the warden advised to go and touch in with five star hotels. Next about neatness. The toilets and washrooms are cleaned once in a week . If we complained against the cleaning staffs, she won't stand with us and support their staffs. And they together teased us by telling "ivide kurachu vrithikkaar und". And finally "ivide pattathavar ee month 31 nu vacate cheythonam".

I stayed here for one day. They have guest rooms. Room was not that clean. Full of dust. Food was ok. Old fashioned rooms. Clean toilets and bathroom but again old fashioned. Water was available for 24 hours. Main problem was that there are restricted phone charging times. Between 9 am - 5: 30 pm you can't charge phones. Also before 7: 30 am you can't charge. No charging points in room. Decent behaviour of warden.

Ok place. Student section seperate from that of working women's. Mostly dorm like rooms accommodating 5-6 inmates, but rooms are spacious . Plug points not available in rooms, only common charging room. The main problem is food, literally insufferable.

No electricity during day time and there's also water shortage at night. They don't tell you this when you join but they'll argue that they have. Wardens are very rude and arrogant. They'll cut off electricity on student's block but will switch it on in the office they sit even if there's no body inside.

No charging facility, no electricity during the day. Good food and prime location. Must get back to hostel by 6.30 pm. This makes it difficult to return from home after weekends.
