U hv all sorts of veggies available here. Also u can buy non-veg. kept separately like egg,fish,mutton, chicken, etc. I find the rates r really perfect for our pockets to give away and collect whatever we want. Even provisions have less profit, than the Departmental stores. Also u get flowers in whole rate like the roses, samanthi, Jasmine varities,etc. As it is in the corner of Porur signal nd having two enterences, it is easily accessible by any mode of transport.

Market has 3 entry one at Mt.poondamalli road (Porur Signal), one at Arcot road (main entrance , near to Mi showroom) , one entry at first left side way in Mt. Poondamalli. All roads are smaller. Market board only at Arcot road entry. If enter from main entrance vinayakar temple is there, then you can find pooja stores , flower market, then if enter you can see vegetable markets , grocery stores . You can also find one mutton stall at the end. After that fish market is there. You have bargain to get best price otherwise you will easily loose 200-300 rs. A small church kind of room (not sure) is there inside fish market. You can park your bike under the MGR flyover (free parking) . No Car parking.

Porur Market is such a heritage market for Arcot Road Area till Poonamalle to kundrathur, everyone prefer Porur Markets for vegetables and groceries. Price is affordable to everyone and easy reach to everyone. Market has a small entrance with Pooja items then if you go straight snacks, fancy stores, rice and spices, even dress and pawn shop, if you take right flower shops vegetables shopping will be there, both the way leads to butcher shop chicken mutton fish everything. Since I was born I know Porur Market till not it looks the same, need some renovations. Do wear a mask and and stay safe from crowd.

This Fish market is famous Landmark of Porur, it's an annex of N.S.N Vegetables market situated adjacent to Porur MGR Bridge, you can get Fresh Kasimedu Fishes in this market you can see huge crowds haunting N.S.N Fish market for buying sea foods..This market is only for Sea Fishes and surely you won't get any Pond or River Fishes..Prices fluctuate as per the demand, availablity and freshness, here you can get fresh Pomfret, Mackerel, Indian Salmon, Indian Anchovy, Seer fish, Prawns, Crabs, Squids etc, usually one need to bargain the price after scrutinizing the freshness factor and Size of the fish, you can first have a glance of the fishes availablity, if the Fishes are grouped in large quantities, then you can make a tight bargain and get fishes at good price, if the demand is High, as well as Supply is less, Fish vendors surge the price and resist hard for your bargain

Fish seller at this market are frauds... Not selling with any honesty, except one man I guess... Last time when I bought king seer fish two kg after asking many times about freshness of it... Seller (second or third shop at right side in fish market) sold the rotten fish... After that we fought and changed it... Better avoid them as they don't sell with honesty.... If am correct, I have marked that shop in red colour in attached photo.
