NRS Royal Palace - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

We are very happy with NRS Palace in Puri. Staff and their support is very nice. We stayed over there for 4 nights and their cleanings are too good. Only few things which they need to improve is food. Need to maintain little quantity and quality for those prices. Booked Delux room but we got standard room with same facility as deluxe room. Rooms are not as per the photo mentioned in website. It will be good if they maintain. Apart from these things every thing is very good. From now onwards We always prefer to stay and recommend here.

Horrible experience when it comes to professionalism and timeliness of front desk and staffs. Bed was not good. No help for late check out for 1-2 hrs, suggested to buy a minimal room for last day instead. Only when I bought lunch and dinner, could see timeliness and good co-operation. Surely money minded. Don't stood upto 4 star standards, should be audited again.

We were there for three days, and we really enjoyed a lot at NRS Royal Palace. The ambiance and decorations were topnotch. you will feel life, you are staying in some fort in Rajasthan. Location: 9/10 On the beach property, with great views and less crowded. Room: 8/10 Specious room with sea facing balcony, and has a vintage touch. However, need maintenance and rooms are full of moisture, , it will dried out only if you turn on the AC for some time. Food: 10/10 The food was very tasty as well as pocket friendly. They have attached restaurant and bar. You can have a buffet breakfast lunch and dinner. Room Services: 8.5/10 Well-behaved and polite stuff. All three days, they cleaned the room and changed towels Bedsheets. However, service is in a bit slower side. Through we got adjusted with it after first day.

Fantastic location. The rooms are good. Service is superb. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, all staff, from room service to restaurant to front desk and housekeeping all were well behaved and courteous. Restaurant is also very good. Quality food served at reasonable prices. Breakfast was awesome. Location was just perfect for us, not in the midst of Swargadwar crowd, neither too far from everything. In all we simply enjoyed our stay at NRS Royal.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel and will recommend everyone to avoid this place. You visit a pricey hotel for their service. However, here it's totally opposite. They will consider you as taken for granted and will not provide a proper service. You will order food/ drinks and will wait for an hour but they will not deliver. Again you will put a reminder still they will not deliver even after making a promise to deliver within 10 minutes. They will provide you with glass bottles( which are very old and used ones) for RO drinking water. Accidentally even if it is broken , they will charge you 200 rupees for that. They will mention that the swimming pool is under maintenance after you are done with your payment. All these for 6500 per night. I have lived in many good hotels across the world. This one does not justify the price they charged in any way. It was not at all a decent experience and I would recommend everyone to think twice before booking it.

Excellent resort with great views and vicinity to beach and supportive staff. Place is quite and local taxis available just outside the resort if one needs to visit to local temples. Food in their in-house restaurant is good enough and hence no need to search for any other place for meals or breakfast. Very nice Hotel. Service very very Good

The hotel's location is good as it is away from the crowd. The rooms are big. The food is tasty and service is prompt. But for a four star hotel and the price of rooms, it needs to work severely on upkeep of the rooms which looked dated, the cleanliness of the duvet covers which had red spots, the cleaning of the small pillows since they were quite smelly, the water outlet of the ac which leaves brown water patches on the balcony door and the hot water supply system which uses individual geysers with small capacity making it impossible to have a good warm water bath for a longer duration. The bathroom also didn't have a case for keeping shampoos and other bottles in the shower area. The curtains are not blackout curtains, so your sleep is disturbed when the sun is in. The general service orientation is poor as they say no first and not yes or trying . Lastly the parking is outside and "at owners' risk" which seemed very low standard for a four star property which should assure peace if mind to guests.

This Hotel was a VERY BAD choice. The overall feel of the hotel is that of an uncomfortable and rude people. The beds were okay but the pillows were pathetic. And the toilets were so old class it felt as if we are in some Dharam shala and not an expensive hotel. Even the swimming pool is ill maintained with many mosaic tiles coming off. But the worst is that of how un adjusting and rude people can be in this industry. We had our package with Dinner included. And We had 2 nights stay there. And we were served the same dinner menu on both days. After much negotiation, a single dish was replaced, but the way we were treated is not funny. It felt as if they were doing some sort of favor to us. On top of that, the staff switched off the news channel already playing on the TV and we wanted to watch. This was on the pretext that it is not allowed in front of guests. By the way, the same TV was playing news in the morning as well. In front of all the guests. And during check out, when we asked for an Invoice in our name, it was again refused that they had already made the Invoice in name of travel website and it cannot be changed. One asks for billing on check out only and I don't know what they expect the guests to do. I feel it is really wrong of them to bill the travel site instead of the person actually paying for the rooms. I don't understand how can this affect their working. The overall experience was really bad.
