We had an amazing stay here. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Food served at breakfast and in room dining was really flavourful and very well made. Breakfast spread has a good mix of health and indulgence. Looking forward to stay here again :)
Novotel Guwahati GS Road exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. The hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. Excellent facilities and top-notch service. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
It's an easy one hour approx drive from the airport. People at the reception will help you not only in getting the best room but also planning your next day. Breakfast spread is really good with majority healthy options. Staff is very courteous. Saswati was so helpful and friendly with my kid too. Value for money.
Needs more professional management though the hotel looks classy and is big and has a large outdoor Bar,pool,dining space it needs to be managed better. Food quality is ok but very small portions are served and the staff are mostly young and inexperienced. The spa is small but not bad but can be improved.
Views from the room are lovely. Just wait till evening and Guwahati will be all cloudy with mountain views. Try to opt for 8th floor rooms- Good views there. Pool was not functional at that time, but Hotel offered a great apology with good gestures. Thankful that my parents Anniversary were not ruined. Food was Delicious. We tried Dinner and breakfast. Dinner had good Assamese dishes, something new for us. Breakfast was decent enough for us. Everyone in Guwahati is humble and cheerful and I found the same here as well. Everyone was greeting us like a family asking about dinner and health. Thank you. We had a decent stay.
The rooms, hygiene, ambience everything of the hotel is good. Highly unimpressed with one staff at the lobby. The lean guy who carries the luggage in after the checking. He is very rude and disrespectful. Spoiled my mood for quite sometime with his behaviour.
Loved the whole experience. We got a room upgrade to a suite with no extra charges. Stayed for a night (2 adults and 1 kid). The food we ordered for in room dining was tasty but costly. The amount is good though. The breakfast buffet had a good spread. No complaints whatsoever! The staff was courteous and helpful. I would come back here again for sure. The rooftop pool was of an average size but the view was great. Check in and check out both were smooth. Thank you, Novotel Team, Guwahati!! You're doing a great job
