Northern Retreat Resort, Vikasnagar - Resort hotel in Dumet - Dehradun, India

Poor service, very bad attitude of staff and owner too. Charged more than MRP of any item about 50% extra And few in staff force you for tip. It doesn't seems tip. And people drinking alcohol too. Totally disrespecting of harmony of Dev Bhoomi.

Me and my family keep going to Northern Retreat. Staff is also very well mannered and respected. They serve delicious food at reasonable price.

I would like to share my personal experinece with all people , speacially all tourist who are coming to land of the gods. 1. Please do check bill. Before paying. 2.service is poor for those are are looking for an nature loving resort at banks of maother yamuna river. 3. I would like to share one person who is from bihar he is a waiter there, the person I mention is the person you will get the bad vipes. 4. Please note The person i have mention eariliar is a same , if u ever visited there who comes again again in need of some incentive. 5. I would like to mention is it neccesorry to pay tip . 6. If you are getting a bad vibes would u ever give tip to a person who made u uncomfortabke between 4 freinds. 7 please note - the person i mention at point [3 ] is same who will roam around u and asky money again again untill u pay him. 8. If u looking a beter place to visit please do visit the other restrorent other that the northen retreat . 9 . Do check bill before paying . 10. This owner wants to only earn money without seeing the charecter of there resort people. 11. Do visit other restorent near this place . 12. If u feel same plaese do review 1 star.

actually the place is good but the staff is very poor if the couples goes there and booked hut or room , they irritate them or asking for tips again and again and please check the rate before paying the bills privacy is good but staff is very bad

The worst experience than other restaurants and staff don't have any service quality.

Service of uttarakhand boys is good. But outer people gets greedy for tip.

the taste of food is very good , especially non veg items. price is also very low as compared to other places. If u want to give a good non veg treat to ur friends, family, this is place is perfect, because of price, taste and quantity. Preferably, dont visit this during night as people who drink , comes at that time. Again saying, the taste of non veg food here is extremely good.

Overall a very good resort, awesome location and place to hang out for a day or two. Keep it up. Only issue is with location as mentioned in the Google Map is not correct so not sure how to get this corrected. We had to call up the owner in the middle of night to ask for exact location via whatsapp and he is very helpful and guided us well to reach the resort.
