I recently stayed at North Star Hotel in Dum Dum and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring a warm welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel's location is convenient, and amenities exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend North Star Hotel for a pleasant stay in Dum Dum.

The hospitality of the hotel is really nice . The staff is polite. I booked the hotel on the 05/12 and couldn't reach as my plans changed and had to come the next day. They changed my booking for the next day hassle free when i couldn't show up .

I stayed for a night at North Star hotel. The experience has been delightful. The room, hotel staff, food and the service was top notch. Service was pretty fast. The staff responded to my requests very promptly. Special mention to Mr. Dipak. He was really courteous. Starting from check in to check out, everything was smooth. I will definitely opt for this hotel next time I visit Kolkata.

The staff is really not cooperative, the manager in the reception at night was very rude. I had come before check in time and since they didn't have early check in i dropped my luggage at reception and went about my day. When i come at night and request them to show me to my room, after a long day and without having the chance to freshen up after my travel, the manager insists on completing filling up the form and submitting my aadhaar before i check in. Since I had soft copy aadhaar I asked him that I'll go to the room and send it on WhatsApp in 5 minutes since I need to use the washroom urgently. He said no. He said we can't do that. I mean what kind of insensitivity is this. Like you can't show your guest some trust, like I'm not gonna send the aadhaar once I check in ? And i even showed it to him and filled up the form, STILL! They have an inclusive breakfast plan which is useless they will only offer one option like poha, not even an alternative simple option like omlette bread, which starts at 8 am. Since I had to leave I requested at 7.55 to bring tea and that also the staff said after 8 o clock milega. OKAY. The washroom has hot water but not in the shower, only in the tap so u gotta use the bucket if you want to shower with hot water. Also when the staff brought in the tea to my room, he knocked once and straight away went to open the door himself, didn't even wait 10 seconds for me to open the door. Like how can you do that ? No plus point for being considerate to women guests. Only positive was the room is clean and it's located reasonably close to the airport if that's what you're looking for. I mean I know it's not a 5 star but simple things like improving your behaviour towards women will definitely help, even if I ignore the lousy breakfast and hot water situation.

We had reserved the entire hotel for my daughter's wedding ceremony for stay of my relatives. We had booked i April, 7 months in advance. We were astounded to find the hospitality,services,hygene,cleanliness and security. Wud love to stay again when in Kolkata. Wud recomend to any one any time. Simply connect to Mr.Deepak kumar,Senior manager and one can relax.

It's a very Good Hotel. I book this hotel for my father and check in process was too smooth. Even the staff give early check in to my father before actual time. Very Good Experience. Also Room was neat and clean. Behaviour or staff is good.

Staff tried their best to assist, and provide different requests promptly. Few tips to improvement: (1) standby power should be sufficient to supply energy to all the facilities that were provided otherwise when, the power supply was normal. (2) Please increase the bandwidth of the hotel wi-fi, so that it can suffice conducting of distant office meetings, at the simplest. The baud rate is quite low, even surfing the net, can be time taking. (3) There is a leak in the AC in 51. The condensed water drips.
