Nook & Cranny - Bed & breakfast in Kotagiri - The Nilgiris, India

We had a wonderful 5 nights here at the beginning of March. Peaceful, clean and comfortable set amongst tea bushes and pear trees. Double rooms with separate sitting room - with an extra bed, bathroom and kitchen. The staff were super helpful and there was a good menu of Vietnamese dishes and local breakfast. I'd highly recommend staying here, it was easy to walk around Kotagiri and auto rickshaws and taxis could be easily arranged or hailed.

Brilliant place! A much needed cozy & relaxed cottage with splendid scenic view & delicious home cooked food. Hospitality & service was heartwarming! I really loved the garden space. The varieties of florals are mind blowing. Also that boutique hidden inside has amazing collection of fabric. I picked up few & really impressed. We really enjoyed our stay , camp fire, dance, sumptuous food & a great cottage to rest. Must visit!!

I stayed with my family at this place an year back. It's a very sweet place which we still remember. Set in the midst of tea gardens, we took strolls around the tea gardens in evening and also in the morning. The owner lady is very sweet with a helpful team. She also taught us pottery a bit and took us around her nursery. Her pet dog CC (that's how her name was pronounced) is super cute. They also arranged bonfire for us which was a lovely experience with family. The cottages are superb; well designed, well furnished and asethetically pleasing. Great getaway for a day or two from commercialised Ooty.

We had a bonfire dinner at Nook and Cranny. Too good. The freshness of the ingredients (all local and seasonal) and the care with which the preparation was done was evident. We came back happily stuffed. The surroundings are very nice. Even if it is not possible to stay there, we would recommend booking their dinner.

Place is very good surrounded by tea estate. There are 2 cottages, each cottage has a hall, bedroom and a small kitchen. Food and snacks are costlier (apprx. 500-700rs per head) but taste is too good. I liked all the varieties served during my stay. They also have a very good nursery, I bought plants for 2500rs but all of them died due to hot Chennai weather.

Beautiful stay. Exquisite food. Their idlis in breakfast were the best I have had so far. The home is surrounded by lush green tea gardens. Owner grows all vegetables in house. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway in the lap of nature.

This is one of the best homestay in bed and breakfast category. Very beautiful property, super clean rooms and amazingly talented host. This stay turned out to be best part of our vacation. Thanks Sangeeta for your amazingly hospitality we are definitely coming back :)

This is located one kilometer from kothagiri town. Their hospitality is amazing and will never feel like a guest over there. They have tea plantations all over the cottage. Their cook is excellent and will provide according to our necessity. They have a small garden and farm where most of vegetables are being cultivated and will be served for us.
