Niva Bupa Health Insurance (Zonal Office) - Insurance agency in Kochi, Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

I am a policyholder of Niva Bupa. Today I visited this office in Kochi, as the website and app provide this address as an office. The experience was pathetic. When I entered the front office, the security asked for what I came for. I communicated my request. The second question is how you took the policy; I responded in online mode. The replay was, "There is no service for those who took online policies from this office. I was shocked. I asked, Can you give me this in writing on a letter? His replay was urgent, and he conveyed my request to someone who walked through. He was also not happy to provide service for me, as I am an online policy holder. He just went inside after taking my policy number and said he couldn't help me. Horrible service. To the employees in this office, show some loyalty to the salary you borrow. We, the customers, pay your salary by policy subscription. To Niva Bupa management, if satisfied customers exist, then only the company can survive. I lost trust in this company. Please don't subscribe to the policies of this company. We customers won't get any proper support from these people--from my personal experience.

I took this insurance in 2016 for my family through Federal bank as I am an account holder in Federal bank. So far I have not made any claim, but regret having taken the insurance as getting annual check up is not easy task. When I tried to contact he rarely takes the call and says he cannot support getting annual check up appointment.

Guys pls don't buy this policy. It's the worst one ever. They reject all cashless claims and push for reimbursement and after that they never repay. I have taken up a case with insurance ombudsman and even filed a case for compensation. Consumers should start reacting till we close this insurance and get money for all the customers back

My parents took Niva Bupa insurance (previously Max Bupa) through Federal bank, as it was through a trusted bank my parents believed and took it, paid premium for two years and now recently when we went to claim insurance as my mother was admitted they denied and cancelled her insurance as well, also my dad's insurance was cancelled since it was taken together. They mentioned previous history which is of 25 years old was not mentioned. The mentioned condition was a brief one and it had nothing to do with the condition admitted for. There was no treatment as well for the mentioned condition 25 years ago, hence how would an old person remember all such conditions and explain? Really pathetic insurance company, scammed us and took our money. Please stay away from this insurance company if you care for your loved ones.

I took Niv Bupa senior citizens Health Insurance. I had to undergo an Ayurvedic treatment for my eyes in June22. I submitted the claim on June 7 th. They haven't settled the claim so far. They asked me to the documental details of the treatment, I had undergone in the past one year. I replied that I didn't have any treatment in the previous year except for ailments like fever, cough and cold. But they are insisting to get a certificate from a doctor stating that I didn't have any treatment in the previous year. I said no doctor will give a certificate to that effect. So when you opt Niva bupa please be careful to get such a certificate.

In my experience Niva Bupa has not rejected any genuine claims till date, I've been the customer of Niva Bupa for the past 10 years, I have only good experience with the company..

Should have Google the insurance company before taking it. Horrible!!!! They are just here to take your money and reject the claims. Utter non sense.

Worst experience ever. There claim settlement and customer service is pathetic. They sell insurance with a cheaper premium and recover that amount when you go for claim settlement.
