A beautiful and serine place.
One of the best places in South Coorg to relax, rewind and soak up in nature!
My favourite part is the pretty garden, delicious food and the cozy room!
It's a quiet getaway amist coffee plantations and beautiful place for a group of 4 to 12 individuals, its located about 2to3kms away from Kutta main city. The property is well maintained and clean. The Host, Mr. Ayappa courteous and made sure that our time at Nitara felt warm and comfortable.
The road leading up to the homestay is narrow (as is most homestays in this location), but adequately paved. It is advised to have personal mode of transportation to and fro from this place. (Aviod Sedans)
They are also flexible offering food for guests at the property with pior intimation and at additional cost. Since we opted to explore local cuisine we didn't opt in for this and hence can't comment on this further.
We were a group of 5 friends and all of us are extremely happy with our choice of stay and would thank Mr.Ayappa and family for being such great hosts.
What can I say at this marvelously maintained home stay with a garden like Eden! With amazingly economical pricing options. Food can be improved slightly but why to crib on it when we are just a vegetarian family visiting this location.
This was my second visit to Nitara.. Food was very good, hospitality is good, it is located inside coffee estate. Staff has been very helpful. Do not be hestiatant to ask Aiyappa if you need to set up Barbeque while during your stay. Overall you can have a relaxed stay for 1-2 days.
Recommended to visit. Will visit again some time future.
One of the best places to visit , family friendly . The host Ayaappa is very accommodating . The food is at its best quality and quantity, suitable for family and friends to visit . Thanks for all the sweet memories Nitara home stay.
Excellent place amidst coffee estates for a short getaway. Clean and beautifully maintained.
The owner Ayappa is an excellent host, goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable! You need to book in advance to get accommodation.
One of the best homestays I have been to. Hosts are very kind and helpful and they serve amazing food. It is located at a very peaceful location and is a perfect place for a weekend gateway. I would definitely recommend it.
Best homestay among all others in the area. Way to stay maybe a bit rough but its worth it. Food provided was the best in entire trip. A warm campfire for the night was provided and the best light and heat in the dark night. Overall a worthy place to stay the night to see its beauty in the morning at sun rise, very close to Kerala boarder. The estate owner is a very friendly person, who guided us to 150 years old temple in kerala which was very near to this stay and worth visiting, on the return we saw a wild elephant, it was really giant and standing right next to the road cliff.
