Beautiful antique filled resort, pet friendly too. Stayed for a night on our way to Bombay from Bangalore. Clean rooms, food is excellent too. But the best part for me was their attempts to go sustainable with little changes from usual hotels.

One of the best luxury resorts in Kolhapur. We stayed at Nishigandha and Hemant. The staff is very polite and professional. Food was amazing as well. Especially Maharashtrian dishes. There is live orchestra and classical singing during meals that sets the mood right. Indoor and outdoor games available. The view and seating in balcony was very calming. Definitely must visit whenever in Kolhapur.

We stay every year there on our transit from Mumbai to Goa (by road). Pet friendly. Well maintained. Great authentic Kolhapur cuisine. Very warm staff. Love and respect the fact that they empower so many local females by giving them great employment opportunities.

Without any doubt, this is one of the Best Resorts in Kolhapur. However, Room Service needs slight improvement. Room we stayed at: The resort is located at a nice location on a hill top. We stayed in room called Hemant which was quite good. However, it has a half shared sit-out area with another room which feels a little not right. Hope they put a partition or something in the future. The Truck House is just perfect for couples. We didn't stay here but the first looks were quite impressive. They have placed it towards one corner of the resort which gives it nice privacy. About the food: Food served here is good. The non-veg buffet for dinner was quite good. Pandhra Rassa and Tambda rassa were done perfectly. True Authentic taste. Breakfast however, was not that impressive. One advice for the management is to provide large plates and bowls. It's a bit difficult to take the right portion of food in one go. For breakfast, there was live classical music which was totally amazing. Even the recorded songs that are played here are chosen carefully. You'll feel relaxed. Service: Room service needs improvement. We had asked for mosquito coil as a preventive measure when sitting outside. It was not provided. There were not many mosquitoes as such, but we wanted it as a preventive thing. Jet Spray in the toilet had very less pressure. This was also not addressed.

We stayed at Stone Cottage for one day - on our way to Goa. Amazing experience of staying in the cottage - having two bedrooms - one of the ground floor and another in the first floor. The ground floor has living room as well. There is a private lawn just for the cottage residents. The view is amazing from the lawn as well as from a small balcony attached to the first floor bedroom. Food is delicious - maharashtrian style. Service is excellent. Would highly recommend stay here - if you want to stay in a peaceful place - away from the city.

A beautifully and authentically mini-eco-resort. With an ever-smiling staff (60% of local women!), rustic touch and THE MOST SPECTACULAR view I have seen in a long time. It's a perfect pit-stop while driving Mumbai-Goa. Hardly 15 minutes detour from NH 48. The food, the vibe, the serenity here is unmatched, genuine and absolutely stunning. I recently had an amazing stay at Nisarg Resort. The view was breathtaking, the rooms were super comfy, and the jacuzzi was pure bliss. The staff was very friendly and made me feel like a VIP. Nisarg is without a doubt the best resort in Kolhapur. I would highly recommend it for an unforgettable experience and would definitely visit again.
