This was the only hotel i stayed whenever i came to Bolpur. My first preference as it is very close to my department. But today i had a very bad experience here, never to look back again here. The staff tried to charge me 12% GST for Rs 600 room price when i insisted in paying online. I was out of cash so i said i will scan pay. He says Rs 72 will be charged extra, while the tourism rule clearly says 0% GST for hotel rooms below Rs 1000. The staff was very rude. I don't understand he was ready to accept 600 in cash but while scanning he says GST will be applicable. Then i told him i will not take the room because he was so adamant and rude. It was exactly half an hour we were there. My husband had used bathroom for 10 mins for the rest 20 mins we were just filling the register and he went outside to fetch some cigt. He charges me Rs 200 for those half an hour. I told him i was ready to pay the whole price and stay there as we had early morning train. Even for that he says the gate will not open before 7am. I gave him Rs 100 with a promise to never return again. It was not about Rs 72. It was about the fraud that they are practicing and the rude behaviour the staffs have. Totally NO TO NISHA.
The only good thing is the price and the location, that's why giving two stars. No outside food allowed, No guest allowed even for a second! Nobody could go into the room to carry the luggages. Even family members are not allowed to meet for a glance. Hotel's staffs are too much unprofessional. Manager is too kuch rough and rigid, can't even know how to treat the guests, always taking a superior chair and leads one's day schedule. Anyone boarding this hotel, obviously gonna suffer from inferiority complex.

Great place to stay nearest Visva-Bharati campus, 600/day room with 18% gst is nowadays best thing. But rooms r not so clean.

Good rooms at affordable price
All the positive reviews seem fake.Terrible place. Booked AC room at almost1500/- per night. Dirty water from toilet sink spilled all around the toilet. On complaining hotel said there was just a single water outlet in the toilet so they could not fix it. Rooms and toilet fittings were dirty too. Planned to stay 3 nights, rushed out after first night! Living hell! The great location could not redeem it too.
We all students went to visit some places in bolpur but the stay in hotel was more enjoyable than to visit those places. We had a great experience bcoz of only the TULUSI INN otherwise we won't able to enjoy our trip... Thank you so much to staffs wh
