Nirmalamatha Central School - School in Thrissur - Thrissur, India

I studied at the School from 1996 to 2004. One of the early students at this school. I cannot comment for what it is now, but only for what values the school put in me and what it made me to be to where I am now. At my time the school had its traditional values, quite strict with many things, but also exceptionally focussed on studies, kept a very high standard towards students and its teachers, but also was full of empathy. It made me who I am. I considered it as my second home, especially with the warmth and brunt of the school officials. Now I live in Europe. Leading a senior position in a world class organisation. The values that have been instilled in me by this school still leads me in my principles which help me to lead at my workplace. The principles of Life that I learned at NMCS (as it was called) still takes me a step ahead of others in Leadership. What is now called as Classical education is what I received here. For those who are abreast of the educational systems in the world have a look at Classical education.

Very bad experience as for working parents don't send your kids as most of the days are holiday. Even for kindergarten they will give holidays in the name of youth festival, any cultural activities, exam preparation etc.but the fees is high and less working days. Very conjusted class room. The teachers and principal don't take any suggestions and they will follow their rules. No proper road to park also. Only half day for LKG. No ventilation and less seating arrangement. They will just give home work daily and all burden comes to parents. They won't give any remedial classes for academically low performance kids. . No proper cleaning

I completed my higher secondary education here. If you are interested in attending one of the entrance coaching institutes in East Fort and need a school nearby then yes this is the best option. The teachers believe that all the students attend entrance coaching and they teach with the sense we have already been taught everything at the coaching centres. And the infrastructure is so not comfortable. You barely have space to stand in the veranda. There is just enough space for two people to walk side by side. The washrooms are so tiny. Situated in busy a area of Thrissur you might think that there will be all the amenities. Well I am afraid that you will be disappointed.

I was part of this institution until 2009. It has brought to my total transformation in person, especially in spirituality. I'm very greatful the management, each and every sisters there for their support and concern. Very strict in disciplines, children may feel uncomfortable, but later they would surely appreciate the same for its rewards in their later life. There are lot of loving memories to cherish. Feel happy that I'm there alive in the memories of some of the collegues and students.

The celebrations are not up to the expectations. Fees is a bit high. Teachers are good and hard working. The school is run by the sisters so the rules are strictly followed. A bit annoying though. The experience and memories school gave me are priceless. School provides prayer room and holy mass for catholic students. and there are many rules to follow. Keep your hair short boys. Also you could make alot of friends around the state. Especially from class 11 and 12. If uh follow the rules, you might just survive. Just kidding

One of the best in Thrissur. My three kids studied in Nirmala Matha. Teachers are very good.

Run by convent sisters. Special adoration to God almighty.. Come on , it's a pretty good school and the most interesting thing is that it is situated right in the city. Nirmalites can understand how cool that is when u have so many places to hang out..this is basically a student perspective review Damn ; there is a cemetery right in front Lourde church is right next ;so students can wash away their sins in that church. Classes separated by shutters... used to have individual desks and chairs for students. The new turf elevates sports.Very competitive CBSE school in Thrissur. The nuns can be conjuring at times; just kidding
