In a concrete jungle of Mumbai, Nirmal Park stands out amongst those very very few green places. It is in south Mumbai. The residential buildings are meant only for Railway officials. Surrounding those buildings are a very spacious parking lot for residents, a very lush green surrounding and several amenities. These include a large and clean open swimming pool, indoors gymnasium, squash court, gym, outdoors loan tennis court, semi sized football ground, kids playground, jogger's park and very spacious multi function ac hall. This hall can easily hold small functions like birthday parties to large ones like marriage accommodating around 1500 people (but not that much of extra parking). There is 24x7 security as well. It is one of the posh areas from where very popular schools are nearby. Trains do pass at some distance from behind this area, mostly local, but thankfully they don't make enough of noise to be of much concern. On a side note be careful while walking kids in the jogger's park at late evening because of the possibility of snakes. Also, though unrelated, that weird loking Antilia isn't far from here. (There are lots of photos of Nirmal Park itself already, so I am going to post views to the outside from here).
Can host a party of more than 1500 people. A great space for marriage functions, birthday parties etc. Easy to locate. But there is very less parking space.

When your parents get transferred you're left holding your broken heart as you tearfully leave this place.

It is a railway colony having 4- 5 buildings with good parking facility. It also has sports and games facility and an hall for events. It is very close to chinchpokli railway station and is on the main road, easily visible. Good airy spacious apartments with shops and hospitals nearby. Great quarters for railway officers.
