Nirmal Jyoti Girls hostel - Girl's Hostel in Changanassery - Kottayam, India

It's atmosphere is calm but the evening snack is always Puffs which is stuffed with onions only. It's very horrible. If they change it maybe many more children will join the hostel. I suggest anything better like banana fry or Vada instead of their dry Puffs. There are always mosquitos and other creepy insects. They ask us for Rs.8500 but don't even have a mosquito net on the windows. All the facilities are very bad and it lacks hygiene a lot. I hope that you will increase the facilities in this hostel which help to maintain a firm standard needed for the hostel

Nirmal Jyothi has been one of the most heartwarming experiences of my life... alongside finding amazing people, experiences gained here helps us grow. There have been a few hiccups along the way but no place is perfect. 3 years spent here would never be forgotten...

Hostlers are asked to keep their phones away after 10pm and will only get it back next day 7pm. They don't let us go out on saturdays and sundays with friends or even if they do, they let us once a month that too barely 1 or 2 hours. Its a joke, they want us to call our parents for every little things. The warden here does not listen to the concerns of the boarders. Boarders are silenced and discouraged to point out any concerns. The members of this institution are not aware that it illegal to do the the above. In the name of discipline, they are infringing our fundamental rights as a citizen living in this country.

Hostel has got plenty of restrictions like keeping your phones with the warden after 10pm , even though its illegal to do so . Overbearing warden , targets certain students and belittles them . Does not let the boarders to go out to carry out their basic necessities. They do not let us go out on Saturdays or let us go out for a movie . There isn't any proper hygiene , ants get inside your books , laptops , cupboards , literally everywhere .

Absolute degenerates as faculty. There is no faculty. No brains present in faculty heads. We are human. K bye

Please don't come here.. Its a really strict hostel with no freedom to do ur basic necessities and it's literally full of insects

Worst experience in this hostel. Its better that you don't come .Torture for 8500rs .Main Warden is the worst .
