This hotel has a very calm and serene vibe. We would not realise that we're im the center of the city once we enter the hotel premises. Staff were super cordial. Food was too good. Ambience of the hotel is exceptionally good. Definitely worth tge money.
Nice heritage property. clean comfortable room. The property is located in city but is large, so no outside noise. Quite and peaceful surroundings.
The Royal cottages are not in the main palace but in a outhouse like annexe. However, it was nice place to stay as the rooms though old styled are clean and well maintained. The staff is a little old fashioned and not at all professional. Definitely need to improve on the hospitality. Though our booking was for Royal Cottages, we were assigned corner most low-end rooms whilst the main royal cottages were vacant. Not completely sure why this happened. We had complain before we shifted to the rooms we had booked. The swimming pool and tennis courts are part of the local club which is visited by local paying members and the guests get to use this for free. You need to have the right attire before you use these but the staff at the facilities are super helpful and facilities are well maintained.
This is one of the finest place to stay. We had memorable time. Diwali time extra special as it was fully lit up. Garden area, Huge Swimming pool & morning chirping of birds add more charm to this place. Royal feeling! --November 2021--
