Nijaguna Wildlife Store,Fine Arts and Sarees - Featured Reviews (2542)
Most of the reviews and photos are about Bandipur Wildlife resort. Nijaguna resort is in chamarajnagar. I happened to be stranded here at night by booking a room assuming this is in Gundalpet. Mistake on my part, I did not confirm the location and trusted the Google location. The property manager too did not specify it the location as Chamarajnagar during the initial conversation to book the room. Have raised a edit request to Google to remove this location named Nijaguna resort. All they have here is a wildlife store, which was closed. Hence requesting all who are looking to book a room at this location to check with bandipur wildlife resort and not nijaguna resort. Please note that this review is not an attempt to rate Nijaguna resorts low, but to make travellers aware.
The veg restaurant is an unhygienic place. Never ever have food from here. Very unhygienic and causes food poison.
Nice property Near to BR hills.....good rooms with all amenities
The worst resort I ever stayed. I hope anyone who's trying to stay here checks these reviews first which I missed in hurry. Please don't book through their website. They will say website is only for seeing the pictures even though a booking link is there. We were lucky to still get a room. The rooms are old, not maintained and cleaned well. No basic amenities like even an option to make coffee, no water bottles. Bed linen and towels are extremely dirty. There isn't even a proper security staff that you would expect in a resort that charge you so much. The lady manager was kind of rude and tried to put the blame on me for booking through online. I have seen her arguing with other customers at the restaurant as well. The stay is not even worth for Rs 1000 a room. Stay away.
Avoid the place Food price is too high compare to the quality they are giving and it's a self service. People are rude and constantly making so much notice so you can't sit peacefully Quoting too much extra on MRP. asked us to pay 30 rupees for 20 rupees water bottle, when I asked bil, she refused and told they can sell it for whatever amount they want to and they are not abide by consumer laws. In total, better to go for some other hotel nearby then spending heavy money on waste service.
We went to the Udupi restaurant for vegetarian food and felt like it was damn expensive for the quality being delivered, food quality or quantity was not on par with any regular small hotels also. List of things that disappointed me: 1. No menu 2.No service 3. No water-Jug/glasses 4. Cleanliness was out of dictionary 5. No maintenance of the wash room n the access to it (next block) 6. Food was not worth the amount they charged -190 for ghee rice which had no sign of ghee n lots of onion -Roti was ok, curry had to be ordered seperately -veg Kadai was more of rasam type with fine chopped vegetables to show that it's of vegetables - meal was good enough. Overall felt like they don't want to run the business, for someone 's pressure it's being run.
We were traveling by bus when bus stopped at this place for lunch break. They have a different system for food. They dont have menu. The cashier will give you 5-6 options like roti sbji, fixed plate, dal rice etc nd you choose what you want. The lady at cashier was really sweet and helpful. We needed food with no salt and no spices. She not only explained it to the kitchen staff but made sure that our food was made on time so we don't miss the bus. b'cos restaurant was very busy. Service was bit slow but overall it was good experience. The food taste despite no salt nd species tasted great. We had mix veg nd roti.
Unhygienic. Extremely Expensive. Only meals and veg biryani available. everything in the bathroom is broken. They have some tie up with Airvat and they are basically giving money to the driver for stopping there. There should negative stars for this place. I cannot even believe anyone would have the guts to serve food from such a dirty kitchen. I didn't get to take a picture but trust me it was bad. Upsetting also extremely expensive. Misleading by using the name of Udupi Veg.
