Had a great time at their Karaoke Room! Hospitable staff. It may not look special on the outside but once you step foot inside the building, your mind will change! Good ambience.
I have one to two trips every year and as a result have stayed in several hotels across India. This is the worst ever hotel we ever stayed in. They had unclean, damp and shabby rooms, dirty beddings (changing which took requests) and the most nonchalant and inhospitable managing staff. We stayed there for 2 days. We ordered food in the evening and after nudging several times, food was provided at 11 PM. They were totally indifferent when we requested to at least provide the food for our 4 year old kid.
It was Nice Staying in the guest house, Decent bathroom ,Good and soft comfort Bed and small cozy room but comfortable for two people, Owner was kind and helpful

I have travelled many places,but it was the most worst hotel I have stayed ever.I booked the rooms for,3nights but since the, behaviour of the staff were very rude and disturbing,we decided to check out,next morning. Disgusting food and drinking water barely available,such stupid, blankets were dirty and smelled awful.Totally disappointed.

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.
