New Raj Residency - Hotel in Ranchi - Ranchi, India

I experienced the New Raj sweets not residence. It is like restaurant you can go with family and try whatever you want from snacks to proper meal. I tried Danhi phuchka, paneer roll, masala dosa, corn chili and gulab jamun. I feel quantity and quality both makes everything value for money. Specifically quantity of corn chili compared to other restaurant is more without compromise in quality. Gulab jamun is hot and big very nice. And I recommend to try this place once. Need improvement in congested place.

The rooms are pretty good. Equipped with good furniture and fittings. Location of the hotel is great (just opposite to Big Bazaar). They have sweet shop just below their hotel which serves good snacks. Beds and all are nicely maintained and washrooms are neat and clean. Nicely maintained.

It was my second visit to Ranchi in this year and both time stayed in the same hotel . But strikingly the things were not same this time . They(goibibo) provided me a club room that too at higher charge . Two separate beds were there that too very small and they could not be combined so very much uncomfortable. Room was very filthy with small cockroaches. Bathroom got locked from inside and could not be opened and I had to call room service in the night to open the same. As hotel has only 11 rooms and all were occupied so they couldn't change the room. And Wi-Fi was not working. Room service was not very impressive. Overall pretty bad experience this time. Don't know why they have degraded their service in last 2 months. My first visit to this hotel was perfectly fine except for some checkout issues. I wish them good luck. But now onwards I shall look for some other hotel in Ranchi. Many other hotels near the same locality are providing much better service at the same price. The best part was that they provided me the dinner late at night as my train was delayed. And their complimentary breakfast with coffee was too good. I suggest never to go for the club room as it at top floor and there is no lift in the hotel also very small beds, rooms are there, very poor or no Wi-Fi at all.

If you want budget stay with good hospitality this is a right place for you, staff is very cooperative and also room is neat and clean and location is perfect.

Best part about this hotel is it's location and it's proximity to Ranchi railway station and Govt.bus stand. Hotel Front desk staff is polite and courteous. However the cons are that the rooms are too small and suffocating. The entrance to the hotel is not that great and in absence of proper signage there is a chance that you may not notice the hotel at all. Rooms do not have proper sunlight and ventilation which makes it a bit suffocating. Nothing to talk about the view from my room as there was nothing to be seen from my room tiny window apart from thatched house roofs and a few huts :-). Most of the channels in the cable had not been subscribed to and hence having TV in the room was pretty useless. And yes, there was no lift in the hotel. Overall I would like to say that at the price charged by the hotel, the services are very basic and minimal. Either they should improve on the facilities or else reduce tariff.

I have tried one #VegThali and according to me the food taste is just too good . The restaurant is neat and clean with a beautiful decorative roof. Ambiance is good, foods are economical and fresh. Restaurant serves pure veg items available in breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Except restaurant thay have sweet shop, snacks shop and dry foods items. Must check out.

Really good place to stay here, market are at walking distance. Very polite staffs. Cabinet is not ao big. Bathroom is too long, when you gave them your room key at morning and when you receive your key then you will find again a new room and your all cloths being well creased and packed. foods are well cooked and testy. All of them is there services are too good...

worth your money. i spent 1200 per night for the room. facilities provided are excellent. all rooms are A.C. staffs are friendly. what i liked the most is they offer complimentary breakfast at such a low price. even the food is great.
