I had the pleasure of dining at New Punjab Restaurant recently, and I can confidently say that it offers some of the best food in town, particularly their biryani dishes. The flavors were absolutely delightful, and the quality of the food was top-notch. What stood out for me, besides the delicious food, was the welcoming atmosphere for families. It's a great place to enjoy a meal with your loved ones. Additionally, the restaurant's central location between Sion and Dadar TT makes it easily accessible. If you're in the mood for some mouthwatering food in a family-friendly setting, I highly recommend New Punjab Restaurant. You're in for a truly delicious experience!

I used to visit here since I was a PG student from ICT from 2016. This is an amazing place for the food lovers. The food is a real deal for the tastebuds. Whenever I visit Mumbai and Matunga, I definitely do not forget to go here.

One of the few Bars in maheshwari udyaan area. This place is a go to place for quick snack n drinks. Food is above expectation and affordable Some time it gets too crowded

We were on the hunt for a place which wouldn't burn a hole in the pocket for a drink and a bite, and having exhausted all options in the vicinity, we searched for places a little further, and zeroed in on New Punjab. We arrived to find the place partially occupied, which was a surprise given it was a Friday night. Taking a table upstairs, we started off with some Bacardi and Smirnoff. To munch, we ordered Chicken Black Bean Sauce, and it turned out to be a really good choice. Quantity was more than average, the chicken was not too stiff, but what made the dish delicious was the sauce. Spicy and tangy, it encouraged us to try some more of the menu, so we followed the starter with the mains. Chicken Rahara with Butter Roti was the first to arrive, and it was a little disappointing. The gravy was quite mild, had no spice or particular flavour, the meat could've been more tender, though it was served in good quantity. The roti was nice, not at all chewy/rubbery and yet quite soft. Finally, the Triple Schezwan Chicken Rice was served. It was decent, the schezwan sauce didn't overpower other ingredients. The rice was okay, not too dry, and had reasonable egg and meat in it. After another round of vodka we decided to wind up. To sum up then, New Punjab is more or less what you would expect from the "budget" kind of places. The food is a mixed bag, the alcohol is easy on the pocket, the service is fairly speedy but isn't polished (not surprising). It's an option worth considering on days you don't wish to be thrifty.

Delicious tandoori and paneer chilly.. We went for lunch here and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back. Great food and service, would highly recommend...Went there on mothering Sunday... Everything perfect. Such friendly staff The server was friendly but inexperienced and botched our cold drinks. Food was promptly served and cooked to perfection. Outstanding!!!! Warm and welcoming surroundings. The choice of food is lovely. The portions they say are small, but 2 give a varied and very adequate meal. The cooking of every element was perfect. Chicken Tandoori and Chicken hot garlic should be tried here..

Delicious food at reasonable prices, good place to visit with friends or family. Service is slow. Food & drinks are priced reasonably.

Good experience overall...Nice Indian and Chinese both veg and non veg are decent.

No place to complain. Don't have your earlier meals and then go to new punjab. All their dishes are wonderful!!
