This restaurant, established in 1954, offers a clean and simple ambiance. However, the food is truly outstanding. Each bite is a delightful experience, with flavors that are simply amazing. While it can get quite crowded at times, the wait is undoubtedly worth it. If you're seeking an authentic South Karnataka dish this is the place to be. We tried Masala dosa (10/10) green masala idly (10/10) Madurai podi idly (9/10) Gulab jamun (9/10) champakali (9/10) filter coffee (10/10) They welcome you with warm water I truly enjoyed every dish we tried, but if you're looking for the absolute best, I highly recommend the green masala idly and masala dosa. They are my all-time favorites, and you won't be disappointed. "Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I hope you found them helpful. It's important to keep in mind that these are my personal food preferences, and the food's flavor can vary from day to day, possibly even improving or changing over time."
What a tasty food! Each dish is a delight to the soul. Green Masala Idli is a must try. Bit expensive but every penny worth the taste!
Visited this restaurant after 13 years and was surprised to find it essentially unchanged. The decor and ambiance hearken back to Bangalore from many decades ago and so does the warm and friendly service. (Prices are solidly from 2023 but one can't have everything). The restaurant is right opposite Mantri mall but since the main entrance is on the cross road, it is easy to miss it from the Sampige main road. The main hall is non-A/C flanked by a party hall and an A/C service hall (called 'Gopika') on either side. They heavily advertise their 'unusuals', which are special menu items, mostly derived from traditional Udupi cuisine, that are hard to find in other restaurants in Bangalore. Tried the 'green masala idlis', mini idlis that are fried and served in a spinach-based gravy, and I have to say that I'm won over. The masalas are reminiscent of Indo-Chinese dishes and coupled with humble idlis that transform into gourmet avatars when fried, this is definitely a must-try.
We visited New Krishna Bhavan near Mantri Square in Bengaluru. This is an older and well-known restaurant in the city. We opted for meals during lunch. The food was average, but cleanliness could be improved, especially in hand wash area. It's worth noting that some food items were only available for specific seating sections and not for general seating. The staff was okay.
The new Krishna Bhavan hotel in Malleshwaram offered a mixed experience. The fried rice was dry, and the paneer Manchurian was hard. However, the gulab jamun was outstanding, earning a solid 10/10 rating. Overall, improvements are needed in the main dishes to enhance the dining experience.
It's one of iconic place which kindles my childhood memory. Hasn't changed much, feels stepping into past. The menu is slightly different. There are weekend special and special on each day also everyday specials. Really like neer dosa, button idli also other stuff. Must visit atleast once. I transact via cash though can pay through QR just to get old vibe
Food was ok but way below the standards what it used to be. The Place and the tables were not clean enough and had a weird smell. It can be a lot better !!
Vada Sanbhar was piping hot !! Both Masala Dosa n Rava Dosa were good Saddened to know iconic NKB is closing down As a farewell to one of our favourite eatery ,we went there to eat their special items !!

One of the older restaurants in south Bangalore. This is the original Brahmin's coffee Bar. Subsequently many places with same name have started in Bangalore though they are not related. Unlike most other places this restaurant has its own timing - 7
Best taste and service. It's one of my favourite places. Whenever we go to Yelahanka, this is the place we prefer to eat. I hope the employee name is Naveen, he suggests the best choice, listens carefully to the orders and serves as we desire. I reco

Visited here on a Saturday morning. Was quite crowded. Famous spot for breakfast with limited yet tasty menu. We had their Ghee Masala Dosa and Idli Vada with chutney. The Masala Dosa was very crisp with good filling of potato bhajji. Idli Vada was a
