Always bustling with trains and passengers, this station serves as the gateway to North East India, including North Bengal. However, facilities such as escalators and automated stairs are often out of service. During my visits to this station, I have never experienced all of them working simultaneously. In terms of maintenance, there is a clear sign of negligence from the management. The washrooms are dirty and unhygienic, platforms are wet, and littering is visible everywhere. The ongoing construction work only makes the situation worse. Despite these issues, a good thing about this place is there are several food joints where you can either have your meals or get a parcel for your journey.

It is one of the most important station of North Bengal But I think govt should provide local trains for this place and around this if they do this the horrible crowd in the general coaches in kanchanjangha and other trains will be reduced And travelers will get a better experience in train journeys ...

Every time I visit this place, I take back home my pocket full of memories. The station is beautiful and if you are lucky enough you may also have a clear view of Kanchanjunga.

This station is playing the major role to reach the north and north east side of India.. this is the open door to reach one of the most beautiful part of India and door of the hill . Station is apparently big, lift, escalator, ac waiting room more things are available there.. this station is well connected to other parts of India.. and also you'll get car service and room service just outside of the station.. price depends upon the season and availability..

#NJP Railway Station Station is quite big and not very well maintained like Sealdah. #Vande Bharat Express The train is very comfortable and fast. We were served light refreshments at our seats. Staff were very polite and friendly. The interior decor is the first thing that strikes you when you enter Vande Bharat Express, India's as-yet fastest train.When traveling by train we are always worried about toilets and food it offers. But this train has used all the latest technologies from sensor based tap to flush. I must say this train has taken care of all the little things. Food offered is also very good. They offer breakfast, tea, snacks, water everything depending on the time you are traveling and have a wide variety. Overall my experience was awesome.
