New India Restaurant - Biryani restaurant in Pilathara - Kannur, India

This is not only a hotel,but also having small auditorium to conduct various small functions like meeting,birthday parties and wedding engagements.now The renovation work is in progress of this hotel. The hotel is situating at ground floor is clean and neat with good ambiance. I was ate biriyani and chilly chicken, and the taste is medium only. The mini auditorium with ac,auditorium with ac and dining area is situating at first and second floor. The auditoriums are good to conduct small parties for this rate. My experience with New India was extremely disappointing. I placed an order for food at 11:30 AM, and they initially confirmed an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes. However, I followed up with them multiple times, and by 1:45 PM, the food had still not been delivered. This prolonged delay left me thoroughly unsatisfied with their service.

This hotel situated in national highway near by pilathara bus stand. Now the restaurant highgene conditions very bad. Inside the restaurant full of smoke, like winter season. And they didn't clean chair and sofa, itfully dust. The restaurant owner at least visit once in a week.

The hotel is located in the prime location at Pilathara. Parking is not available due to ongoing National Highway work. I visited there for a take out option, it took almost 1 hour for them to prepare the food. There were many other customers waiting since 1 hr to get the delivery. The person handling the billing counter and managing the deliveries was pretty confused, there were instances where wrong food was delivered to the customer. The management needs to improve a lot in terms of lean delivery of food. The taste and quality of food is good and the hotel is clean and hygienic.

Kaada biriyani was good, but fried rice was disappointing.

Good and tasty food. Good thing is we got the Mangalorean waiter who was recognised us by our accent and communicated with us in Tulu Language. That's the best thing which for me. We were happy and he was also happy
