That was a time in early 20's it was famous for irani tea and bun maska. But now day by day qwality and charm of this old chiliya restaurant is going out of list. I have ordered today egg noodles where i have been served only salad with little noodles. So from now i will go for only irani tea and bun maska as usual.
It's an old cafe style muslim eatery. It's situated exactly opposite of historical August Kranti Ground. Seating is small & Kheema Paav is most famous dish here for breakfast but go early (before 10am). I went for breakfast as kheema was out of stock I had egg omlette & egg masala with paav. Both were too good and at reasonable price. I also tried chicken seekh kabab which had lip smacking taste. In lunch, you can have Chicken Dum Biryani(Mutton/Chicken). Don't expect too much hygiene here.
Good location. Nice place. Service is also good. I had tried mutton kheema and it was good. Quantity was bit less for me but still the taste was good. Overall experience was satisfying.
It is basically old school restaurant,nice location just opposite of August Kranti Maidan ,nice place to have mughlai food ,During Lunch time It is fully packed,It also has mirrors in the restaurant which gives it a classic old school restaurant feel
