New hotel yatri niwas - Hotel in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

I had requested an Indian-style room with a bathroom 15 days before check-in. When I arrived at the hotel, they offered me a choice between an Indian or Western-style toilet. Although the room with a Western toilet was wonderful, I needed the one with an Indian toilet, as previously communicated. I felt compelled to check into the room with an Indian toilet, but unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet were not clean. I had to make do because I had plans to visit various places in Varanasi throughout the day.

I had booked 2 AC rooms paying Rs two thousand as advance based on the room pictures sent by the hotel, services and facilities explained, particularly car parking. However when i reached thei found hotel located in a narro lane, without any car parking place and rooms having shippage with fungus in all rooms shown and hence I did not checked in. Hotel did not even refunded the advance amount taken to me. Overall I suggest to think twice before booking this hotel.

Non AC room is small but OK for small family. There is no kettle as described in goibibo. Better to visit restaurant very nearby for food rather ordering from room. Soap, towel and water bottle is provided. Very close to railway station - walking distance - don't board autos or rickshaws as they charge Rs.50 per passenger for just less than a 1km distance

Very arrogant staff. Not cooperating with customers. Wash rooms are not up to the mark. My train was in the morning but the manager/ staff was sleeping in spite of our pushing. At last after a few minutes they opened the door.

I have Visited with my family hotel manager and the owner are very good and polite they have manage the room earlier for us and they have send the staff to receive to the Varanasi junction rooms are decent price is also very good and very safe for a family they have own food also and nearest to all the visiting places very good must visit again.

Horrible I generally dont write reviews but I have to write for this hotel. Ac doesn't work, full of mosquitoes, terrible bathroom smell, bedsheets are dirty, not even changed, receptionists are rediculously rude and arrogant, images are completely different from what the room actually looks like. All other 5 star ratings are fake, done by owner's relatives or their known persons. my suggestion even if they provide this room for free don't take it, its a nightmare
