New Hotel Broadway - Hotel in Varanasi - Varanasi, India

I stayed for 2 nights 16th to 18th Sep'23 Booked Superior deluxe room which was small but near and clean. Worst was the Front desk hospitality. Manisha receptionist had no knowledge that she is from the hospitality industry. on check in no greetings , no smile , did not tell us anything about breakfast timings just had a swollen face and exactly the same while checking out. We picked our own luggage in front of her eyes and still did not offer any help from the bell boy instead kept a straight face. Regarding the distance of the temple and ghats , you have to pay 100/150 each way to the autos / rickshaw wala every time you want to visit.

Little overpriced but decent rooms. Good service of staff. U have restaurant attached.

The hotel rooms were completely unhygienic. The bathrooms were not clean. The quilt, bedsheets were extremely dirty as can be seen in the photos. The rooms were very small for one extra mattress though we paid for the extra mattress. The receptionist had no idea what is going on in the hotel. The toilet jet was not working. In another room, the flush was unnecessarily wasting water the whole day. Overall, the hotel was completely unorganized. looked like they are going to close the business there.cleanliness, rude behaviour of staff, unmaintained rooms..

Amazing experience on a family trip. I recently went to Varanasi on a religious trip with my extended family. The hotel is located very close to all the important places in Varanasi especially Assi Ghat where one goes for morning aarti. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean with all amenities. Staff is extremely polite, honest, helpful including reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff especially Mr Pradeep and one lady at the reception (I forgot to ask her name). U easily find transport outside the hotel to go anywhere at any time. Food quality was very good...their restaurant is famous in the area. Overall a very Happy experience

Ultimate stay with family. Very mannered and supportive staff specially Ms. Manisha. She resolved my issue of early check in and early check out in such a tremendous manner. I wish her best of luck for for her future. Size of the room was bit small. But over all a great experience.

Nice hotel in the centre of the city, walkable distance to the river. The staff are polite, helpful and give quick attention. The restaurant has both veg and non-veg fare and the food is tasty.

I had a wonderful stay at New Hotel Broadway and here are couple of reasons supporting my experience; 1. Thank you Sakshi (Reservation Manager) for providing us the family room at the last minute because we were running here and there for 2 hours while searching for the suitable hotels. 2. Assi Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath temple, BHU and Lanka area are the couple of spots which are nearby. 3. Thank you to Johny for arranging the darshan at Kashi Vishwanath temple, however we did not had a very good experience as one of the police officers and some people from South India misbehaved with my family and the pandit ji who helped us with the darshna was not available to handle the situation. I felt really sad while standing on the premises of Lord Shiva 4. We had a decent trip to Allahabad sangam which was arranged by Johny but once again panda's misbehaved with us at the Vindhyachal temple. 5. Additionally, the boat ride organized by Johny for the Dashashwamedh ghat was incredible and we learnt a lot about history of Benaras narrated by the guide. 6. Rooms - Family room was very comfortable with a decent city view. Moreover, sofa cum bed and King size bed can easily accommodate 4 people. It was well equipped with basic amenities but the drainage and shower were not working properly. Lastly, Benaras during the rainy season has lot of power issues, which were nicely managed by hotel Broadway. 7. Breakfast - It was basic and average in taste but enough to fill the stomach, however after 9:30, restaurant staff was unable to fill the buffet on time and we had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. Lastly, breakfast timings are 7:30 to 10:30 but was not setup at 7:30 am and we had to wait till 8:00 to access the buffet. 8. To summarise, every staff member was very polite and helpful not only in terms of behaviour but also taking care of requirements as per the needs. New Hotel Broadway showed a true hospitality in enhancing my memories with Benaras. I must recommend this property to everybody because Sakshi and Johny are well equipped to take care of the requirements.
