(important)! please carry snacks / water and basic needs before reaching the station because near or outside this station there's nothing! Totally empty place even for a water bottle you'll have to take auto/rikshaw to reach the nearest shop !! Actually There's only one small shop inside the station and by chance if that's also closed than you won't even get a water bottle till next station!! And please book ur tickets before reaching this station because ticket counter of this station is totally useless you won't even get a general ticket here !! It is 2nd railway station in guntur named new guntur railway station but let me tell you guys don't go by the name only, there's nothing like New in the station and only 1 train runs there presently and the station is full of dust and dogs ! Just follow what I said and you'll thank me later !!

It an another Railway Station in Guntur. Located in an isolated area which mainly used for the dumping and exporting goods from this station. Passenger's will be seen in the train timings only , rest of the time it will be seen empty. Now a days people are using this station without fear when compared with early times. Jan Shatabdi , for this train passengers will be mostly seen . Be careful with women and children especially in night times. In this scenario recently Police Outpost had been set up near this station.

Empty station that's far from the city. No shops or food stalls nearby 1km. Only one IRCTC store that stays closed most days. Couldn't even get water bottles.

This is the 2nd station of guntur.Station maintainance is good.But station is isolated and located in nehru nagar.Very few trains halt here. Parking space is sufficiently ok. Connectivity is the main issue as of now. if the capital is finalized it can see a development.Hope it'll turnout to be a busy junction and prosper towards the development around the region There is a new police station opened next to Railway station recently to control the crimes around station area.

Situated to a remote location within Guntur. Conveyance to this station from any corner of Guntur Is tricky, as no direct public transport is freely available. One has to hire transport exclusively to reach this railway station. Coming to the facilities at this station barely any passenger train passes from here hence the basic facilities are missing here. Drinking water or any snack availability is close to nil. If you are travelling from this station ensure to carry your own water and food else enjoy starving.

New guntur station is near bus stand most of here doing loading unloading the good and containers also , only particular trains stop here It is better take reservation and tatkal train ticket here crowd are very low .

Small station with just 2 platforms. Despite of that, Good amount of parking space, well maintained premises.

Worst maintenance. Only autos are available for going to Guntur city and they charge 30 rupees for each person even though the distance is around a kilometer only.
