Location of the resort is superb. It's in the middle of the jungle and if you are a nature lover, you are going to enjoy the vibe. BUT, BUT BUT, rooms are very very bad. Not at all recommended for family members. Food is good, service is good

Place is between lush forests, closer to nature. They have a good range of rooms available for familys,couples and groups of friends. The best part is the meal options they have, which is included in your package itself. Both veg and nonveg are available mainly local cuisine. Rooms are well maintained, and premises are also well maintained.

Wasted of money. Very bad experience. The staff was very aggressive. I recommend that choose other hotels near main market.

Good location. It's at 10mins walking distance from Matheran Bazar. Friendly staff. Spacious resort. I went during Christmas so price was little high. Food included and good to have. Few limitations, You will not get Tea all time, I am a tea lover so It was irritating for me.

A pathetic place to stay. I am all for the "living in the forest experience" however it became glaringly obvious that the so-called "Resort" people were taking advantage of the fact that people who had booked the rooms in advance had no place to go once they've traveled so far. In my experience, there is no explanation/defense that a hotel can offer for dirty bedsheets/pillow covers and a lack of basic amenities like proper water flow in the bathroom. The rooms smelled of dampness. It was so repelling that if I could run out of that place, I would have. They have posted such great photos on online booking platforms, but the reality is the exact opposite. My basic issue is with the behavior of the staff at the reception. So much attitude! They should know the basics of talking to a customer. If you are planning to stay here with your parents, DO NOT do that. I think I would never want my parents to have to stay in these conditions. The hotel staff had a standard reply to all issues that it is in the forest and that is all that can be done. Nobody is expecting a 5-star experience at your resort. At least give the basic amenities like a clean room with a clean bathroom to people and courteous behavior!

Cons- 1. Long walk through the forest to get there, sort of in the middle of nowhere. 2. Condition of rooms and bathrooms was very poor. 3. Unclean bed sheets and pillow covers. 4. Staff service was not great. We had to repeatedly ask for extra mattress, pillows and blankets that we had already paid for till late night. 5. One of the three rooms provided to our group was so bad, we (8 people adjusted in 2 couple rooms paying extra per person). We were told by a reception staff that we are free to leave if the rooms are too bad. At 6 pm in the middle of nowhere on a stormy evening! 6. Very small portions of complementary breakfast. 7. Everything is shabbier than they appear in the photos. Pros- 1. Great dinner. 2. They have a disco kind of.

rooms were great, clean and cozy. room service cared for our every needs. food tastes great, both veg and non veg. location of resort is best, in woods, half hour walk towards market and many points at walkable distance.
