New Grand Hotel - Restaurant in Vaduvanchal - Wayanad, India

Horrible dingy place. Flies and spiders all around. The only available items were chicken biryani, beef biryani, and meals. Ordered one fish meal and two veg meals, and the fish was a fried whole fish which was extremely smelly like it wasn't cooked properly. The veg curries and sambar were all unpalatable. One of us didn't even want to eat there so we didn't order for him. And another of us couldn't eat the meal so we ordered a chicken biryani for her, which tasted okay except that the chicken in it was extremely hard and deep fried. After we were done, we were regretting entering the place at all.

Small place, friendly staff... Authentic Kerala cuisine served in banana leaf. So reasonable and so tasty.

Can expect decent breakfast, kind of okay.
