Ordered there mutton combo through Zomato which included plain soup, biryani rice, kheema ball, boti fry and mutton fry with one egg. Needless to say I was very much disappointed with the taste of rice. It had barely any flavour felt like an ordinary road side rice. The boti fry had a specular smell looks like it was not cleaned properly and the soup tasted a bit bitter I don't know why. The only taste I liked was their mutton fry. The masala was lit and tasted very well. But overall not a place to order from, just a hype

I would say do not visit and the food is really pathetic and normal resturant taste far better then here... Soo do not waste your money

Worst taste in the history, I think they fooling around bengaluru people from 1908 by faking the reviews, server behaves like rowdy, price too high and not at all worth the hype. Worst ambience, totally I do not recommend , sorry I command everybody DO NOT to visit THIS PLACE

1908 started New Govinda Rao Military Hotel, much hyped by bloggers. I had food from here many times. Always prefer combo options. But this time, combo not available for Breakfast. Ordered Pulav, Boti fry and a glass of soup. As always soup is awesome. Pulav okay this time. Boti fry is not as good as per my expectations, it is rather a Roast in nature. The leaf plates which food is being served is told as their responsibility to the nature friendly, but very sad to see that these leaves are covered with plastic wrap in the bottom side. Price side Pulav 90, Boti fry 150 and soup 30. Parking space not available.

Don't expect any ambience. Food is also average. Biryani is below average. No cleanliness at all.

Would rate 3.5 stars for the food. Mutton biriyani is good, tasty & flavourful though would have preferred it bit spicy. Chicken Pepper is a show stopper, very delicious and finger licking good. Leg soup was a damper & spoil sport. It was just like hot boiling water with some soupy gravy. Do not go for leg soup. Overall rate average/good. Had been in morning for breakfast, only few items on offer. Prices are economical.

Loved the taste of starters especially chicken pepper dry n boti fry. Mutton keema was cold, hard n didn't taste fresh. Chicken kabab was not well marinated n tasted bland. Mutton n chicken pulav were cold n not upto the mark. Would revisit this place only for their pepper dry.
