Super Food and Service Good Quality food - Had Akki rotti, and mutton curry. Their Dessert/ Brownie is a must try item. Wonderful Service-Attitude of the Restaurant owners are worth mentioning. They made sure that the food is prepared and served as per our requirement. Affordable - rates are reasonable.

We went to New Freeman's for lunch and it was a delicious meal. Their Choco truffle cake is to die for! Their mushroom coorg style, chicken starter, biryani and American chop suey were great. They have amazing spring rolls too. Will definitely go back when we're in Madikeri!

We went there after being served a disappointed food at fish curry rice restaurant. It's a very basic, home style restaurant. The owners are from Chennai and very customer oriented. They keep checking if everything was good. The food here is coorgi, Indian and Chinese. We ordered chilli fish, fries and garlic chicken. Nothing was amiss. Food was good and also total value for money. They also have fresh bakes, cakes , pastries, homemade wines.

The food is nice and economical. But i say don't try the brownie. It's too costly and the quantity is too less. I say try the brownie anywhere else but here.

I had purchased one chocolate cake, red wine, kadai chicken, dry pepper chicken, dal fry, jeera rice, rice, akki roti, chicken biryani, however I did not like the pepper chicken, kadai chicken taste as it was too much spicy. And they had forgot to pack rice also, which caused us little problem as we had travelled 25km from that location to our homestay and it was difficult for us to come back and take it. We had repeatedly asked them that is everything is packed, as we did not recheck that was our fault we ended up adjusting the food we took home. Recommend : Check your items then leave the shop. CAKE was very good, fresh and resonable, got it for 500/- (1kg) RED Wine was good and reasonable. (400/-) Biryani was okay okay. DAL FRY was comparatively good. Jeera rice was good. Chicken item was too spicy and not at all tasty. Price is resonable. We also had a hot and sour soup, that was full red in colour, too much sauce, not at all good. Lemon tea was the BEST among everything we had. I found Tiger and Tiger( near Raja Seat) better , little bit costly but pure homemade taste and you would definitely love the food and also the hospitality.

Based on our experience, the quantity of the foods they serve is too little. We bought a full chicken biriyani and a full mutton biriyani, but they were served in small bowls. Later we had to eat from another restaurant to satisfy our hunger. The taste of foods were also average. In my opinion, it's not worth for the money we spend.

One of the best place in madikeri to fulfil ur food craving..!! This restaurant is located just on the highway (madikeri-Mysore) Building looks old but never judge a book by its cover ..!! Food was absolutely delicious ..!! Their Coorg style chicken dry was the highlighter of the day..!! Akki rotti with garlic chicken curry was so good ..!! Mutton biriyani was very good as well ...!! Brownie with ice cream is a must try fish here ..! Every dish here was really delicious and the hospitality by the owner (lady) was really good ..!! Price is also nominal ..!! They accept cash and UPI payment methods..! A must visit restaurant if u are here in madikeri ..! Most recommended
