Very good hospitality. Whatever one needs for a stay is available. Homely atmosphere. Helpful staff. Pollution free location. Homely food. Tips for travelers: If travelling by road to Chandigarh, then enter Chandigarh city and then put on google maps. If you are coming from Shimla side, then do not put on google maps before entering Chandigarh city, as it will take you through some interior village type roads. So best option, is to continue on the nice four lane road all the way to Chandigarh city and then put on google maps to find the location, so that you will travel through proper roads to easily locate the place.

Liked * The owner was very nice, caring, friendly, waited for us. Provided us with city tips and maps. He has several employees throughout the day - helpers, who take care of the facility, so it is clean and functional (sockets, lights, etc.). Definitely perfect value for money. Still not European standard though, but hey, consider the price (16e/room/night)! Location was quiet, on the other side of the city airport and train station, among family houses. Rather clean nad safe surrounding. You need to use Uber to get to the city (far even for tuk tuk), but in Chandigarh you always need to take uber or tuk tuk. There is a rooftop terrace in the apartment but without seating (maybe in warmer months there is), but you can sit on a smaller terrace. They have their own kitchen, so you can have breakfast, lunch or even dinner at the place. If you travel in winter, heater is needed. You can have one for 300 ruppies. They usually provide you with the small-fan-one, which is rather noisy, but can lift up the temperature to manageable level. Hot water, towels and small amenities like shower gel provided, included in the price. If you don't plan to spend over 50e per night, this is definitely good place to go. Disliked * Head-shower had, as usually in India, very weak pressure, so you need to wash your hair in the bottom one. Kneel and wash. In January rather cold room, unless you like colder conditions. But with heater manageable. However I would prefer bigger one, not noisy, fan-based. Bed was rather hard, softer mattress would be welcomed. And maybe new paint or slightly better smell in the room (and of the blanket) to feel more comfortable. But again, considering value for money, definitely good place to choose from.

Well everything with this hotel seems excellent. The hotel owner followed up with me till last minute and was so cooperative in terms of helping us cancel with no fee due to our change in plans.. Seems so helpful and cooperative!! Will definitely consider them during my upcoming stay!!

I booked this holiday home on two occasions first on 01/10/2022 and again on 08/10/2022 for a night stay.On the first occasion we were offered a room which had an additional room on the side which we didn't ask for as I booked the room as triple bedded. The ac was functioning well though the switch was broken and ac could be operated with remote only.The bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided along with towel.The geyser was delivering hot water both in the basin and hand shower.But on the second occasion we were provided a condemned room where the wardrobe handle was broken , there was no cold water supply in the basin as the pipe line was cut, the geyser was not supplying hot water in the pipe line to the hand shower and the room was much smaller in size. The only good thing was that the ac which functioned properly.When I asked the caretaker Mr. Kundan Singh he replied that the charge for the previous room is 2400/- per night and for this room was 1400/- per night though in the website of the holiday home the charge was mentioned as 1290/- per night for triple bedded room including all taxes.When I had asked Mr. Kapoor the owner about food he had said that they have a restaurant inhouse and anything ordered will be delivered by the cook Mr.Kundan Singh.We ordered Chicken curry and rice and the food was brought from a nearby restaurant and the taste was not at all good.They only supply breakfast and all meals are brought from outside. So from my personal experience I would suggest travellers to book rooms only after seeing the condition of the rooms.
